Time Saving Connectors
Gluing PVC conduit connections is not difficult, but these Quick Fitting PTC fittings have some significant advantages in some situations. Here are my pros and cons of using these fittings vs glue:Pros:+ Speed. These save time compared to gluing connections. Pressing conduit into these fittings is much faster than gluing the connection.+ Removable. These fittings can easily be removed using the included tool. This allows for making changes to the conduit without cutting.+ Swivel. After the PTC connection is secured, the attached conduit can will still swivel, unlike a glued connection where it is fixed. This is helpful when you need to adjust the angle of something like a glued 90/LB/LR/LL etc. on the other end of the conduit, for example.+ These can be used with liquid tight flexible conduit, but only if you get some of the stiffeners that are used for PEX pipe. Note that these are not included.Cons:- Slightly more expensive than slip fittings, but still reasonably priced. Not a major con when you factor in time savings.- Stiffeners are required to work with liquid tight flex conduit, and they are not included. This seems like a major oversight, hopefully Quick Fitting will correct this and start including them.- Less rigid than glued connections. This can be a pro or a con, depending on the specific job.- Not as strong as glued connections, both in terms of seal and kinetic strength of the connection.- Potentially more prone to dust/dirt infiltration in the exposed portion of the fitting. The inside of the conduit is fully sealed.- Not usable underground, obviously. There may be other pros or cons I am not thinking of. These are a useful tool in your electrician arsenal. Use when the pros outweigh the cons.

Loving these fittings.
As I mentioned in a review of the elbows, I ran some rigid in one of my out buildings, mainly to protect the wire from livestock. Along with some flexible conduit I had, designed for rigid connectors, the install went fast and looked good. I am really liking these connectors. The fact I can disconnect and change the layout later is also a real plus.

Time savers
No need to wait for glue to set - the best part is that you can install them quickly and remove them quickly if needed. You could always add glue to get it to be 'permanent', but I always tend to reconfigure my conduits, so these work in a pinch.

Game-Changing Wiring Solution for my Workshop!
I recently acquired the QuickFitting 3/4 inch Junction Box Connector for wiring my workshop, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance. This product has revolutionized the way I approach electrical conduit installations. The push-install feature of these connectors made the wiring process exceptionally easy. What sets them apart is that no PVC cement is needed – a significant time and effort saver. The push-on design for all connections is not only convenient but also removable and reusable. This feature allows for flexibility in making adjustments or modifications to the wiring layout. One standout feature is the compliance with UL, IP66, and NEMA3S standards. These connectors are dust-tight, watertight, and concrete-tight, ensuring a high level of protection for the wiring. The fact that they are rated for direct burial adds to their versatility and reliability. As someone who takes pride in their workshop, I appreciate products that enhance efficiency without compromising on quality and safety. The QuickFitting connectors have truly changed the game for me. Wiring is now a hassle-free task, and I can confidently say that these connectors have set a new standard for my future wiring projects. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and durable solution for electrical conduit fittings, I highly recommend giving QuickFitting a try. It's a game-changer!

No glue!
The connectors work great for rigid PVC conduit. These are very similar to plumbing "push-to-fit" connectors. They seal out moisture and secure the conduit without the need for primer and cement. The threaded end secured to the box tightly without stripping. Quick and easy, no mess, secure connectors.

Great for temporary projects
These quick connect fittings are great for projects where you will need to take them apart in the future. I did a solar mockup, and by using these fittings for the connections, I was able to take them apart and use them again for my next project. They seem to be everything that they are described as. I had no issues with water getting inside of them when I had them installed.

Not sure why you would use this instead of a glue connection.
I am not seeing where this is any advantage for the price to using a glued connection. Same work, same measurement, same cut. The only advantage I can find is that you can easily disassemble it. But that does nothing to fix the cut length. so, if you are doing a professional installation and measuring twice, this appears to be a expsive method of connection.I would not recommend.

UL listed and they work great!
Looking at my picture, I think I need to tighten one down a bit--it's a little crooked. Never mind that, these are terrific connectors. I did test with 3/4 conduit and just like the 'shark' brand for PEX, these are easy to install and release conduit. It comes with the yellow clip that makes removing the conduit easy. The connectors themselves are very strong and have the UL cert right on the outside (easy inspections). They include o-rings to make it liquid tight. The ridges along the outer plastic make it easier to grip and tighten. This is a simple 5 star product. Thanks!
