Looks great!
I have to say, I'm equally impressed with the Year 7 Workbook as I was with the Year 5 and 6 versions. The layout is just as clear and inviting, and the explanations are accessible. While currently we're committed to working through the Year 5 workbook as it's been yielding fantastic results for us, I'm confident it will be equally beneficial when we're ready to progress. The seamless continuity between the two workbooks assures me of a smooth transition when the time comes.Although I can't provide direct feedback on the Year 7 workbook just yet, based on our positive experience with the previous versions, I'm optimistic that it will continue to be an invaluable asset in our homeschooling journey.

Lots of repetition to embed learning
I particularly like the ‘remember ‘ tasks at the beginning of each section. Some solutions would help students on topics they are unsure of.

Excellent for hands on maths confident parents or those who follow the White Rose curriculum.
This Yr 7 book is intended to be used in conjunction with the White Rose Maths scheme (which you can purchase a subscription to if your school doesn't use it).If your child is not following that scheme, you may find that the order of learning certain Maths topics is different to the order your child is learning them at school, so you need to be able to fill in any potential gaps to encourage your child through. The books are printed on high quality paper, are nicely laid out with answers available online by scanning the QR code in the book (so kids can't just skip to the back to look, but you don't have to buy a separate answer book). There is one practice journal to complete for each week of the school year just a couple of large print pages long per exercise, so it's not so much a child will feel overwhelmed. These are books you are meant to write in, including even a space to write a name on the front. At the end of each term, there is a short self assessment sheet which asks your child to think about the topics they have covered in the term & asks how they feel about them, encouraging them to take any issues to their teacher or parent which I did particularly like.A nice addition to your maths teaching toolkit.

Too many misprints (including one on the cover!!!), no answers provided.
I bought this book for my twin daughters, who started Year 7 this September, so they could practice math at home. Based on material covered, the problems offered etc. the book is actually quite good. However (!) it has an unacceptably high number of misprints. We found around 10 throughout the book, which is completely unforgivable -- to have a single misprint would be too much, albeit understandable. Unbelievably, they managed to put a misprint on the cover -- you can see on the right 0.0006=6 x 10^4, which is obviously incorrect. Some misprints make it very difficult to understand the problems. Coupled with the fact, that there are no answers provided, it really ruins the impression of otherwise quite a decent book.

A tutorial journal
I ordered this in the hope that it would help my grandson catch up on his missed schooling during lockdown, as he does have extra help due to slight learning and understanding difficulties. He loves maths but far behind in his year, so I thought this would have sums etc, that he could pick and choose those he could answer and he’d catch up quickly, giving him the confidence to enjoy his lessons more, rather than worry he won’t get it first time? These books are more like tutorials, and would require a lot of interaction at home in a teaching mode. I did look through them, but to me they’re not going to help, but rather hinder his progress at school due to maybe pushing him too hard and resulting into hindering the good work he’s achieving with his school’s extra support.Good for those who are experienced with the White Rose teaching modules, are inclined on home schooling support, or work in the education sector.

Good
This book is laid out really well and is appealing to the eye. The maths inside is quite comprehensive and particularly good as just gently supporting the areas being taught at school. An excellent book for consolidating knowledge.Would recommend.

Good but you need to go online for the answers
This is a decent maths exercise book to keep your kids practicing over the holidays. The layout is clear and it definitely seems comprehensive. However, you need to scan a QR code to get the answers. Not really sure how that's a benefit unless your kids skip to the back for the answers. But then they could just scan the QR code instead if they were determined to cheat!
