Would buy again
These are 10X better than the ones that come with DT770 in my opinion. They are softer, lighter, and keep me way cooler in my relatively warm office. I've noticed zero change in sound quality.

Cooler than stock pads, sound signature changed.
These are awesome. Easy to replace on my DT990 Pros. Way more comfortable than the worn down pads I had before. I will say that the sound signature has changed a bit though. Not sure because of the foam material but there is definitely more bass, might need to be broken in perhaps? Definitely love my purchase of these, I can wear my headphones without getting irritated for long periods.

These ear pads keep falling off
I was super careful when installing these new earpads. Yet they keep falling off. The little fabric (faux leather?) lip, that wraps around the edge of the headphones to keep the pads attached, is so tiny it just can't hold the ear pads on. The left ear pad has just fallen off for the 3rd or 4th time and I can't take it anymore. Additionally, the ear pads did change the soundstage although I like the change, and they do feel cool (temp) when putting them on, but they only feel cool for a few seconds. They quickly warm up to body-temp.I have to buy replacement pads from a different vendor now, though, due to the ear pads continually falling off. This was a waste of my money...

Great pads but a nightmare to install
Being an budding dubstep producer, I rely on my DT 770 studios to carry me through my Garage Band magic. The lack of ventilation in my parent's basement made my gamer sweat accumulate too easily in the stock ear pads (being made of a felt-like material) so I had to ditch that bio hazard for something more reliable. The build quality of these ear pads is nice and they feel cooler than the stock ear pads (which is a huge plus in my book). Unlike a lot of other reviews, I haven't noticed any change in the sound quality but most of my songs have the sound stage of a 2003 Honda Civic so make of that what you will. The only issue my homunculus brain could find would be with the surprisingly tedious installation process. Unlike the leather on the interior of the stock ear pads which is thicker and may as well be vibranium in comparison, these ones are thin and flimsy. This means that, when you try to stretch and pull it over the ridge of the headphones, your blood pressure skyrockets when it inevitably falls off of any side you're just barely not holding on to. My hairline receded by a quarter of an inch by the time I put the first pad on.Overall, it's a great product but the build quality of the part of the pad that holds onto the headphones is flimsier than my career prospects. Prepare for the patience of a saint during installation and try to never need them removed ever again.

Comfortable and cool
I would recommend this due to their extreme comfort. They do add more bass to my DT990 Pros which I personally enjoy as I felt the stock padding did not very good bass

Just fine, but difficult to install
Pretty comfy! They feel like they have better isolation, and the cooling is kind of nice? It wasn't a selling feature for me, I just wanted something with more of amemory foam material. While I can tell that some sounds feel muddier, it doesn't bug me much as I don't have much need for sound accuracy. The main negative for me is a big one in my opinion. They can be a BEAST to get on. The first pad took about 40 minutes of struggling before successfully attaching it. After all of that struggle, the material is so stretched out that the thing falls off for no good reason, and it doesn't go back to normal. If the instructions tell you to stretch them out to get it on there, and they can't recover from being stretched, what's the **** point? I'm stuck with a damaged earpad. That being said, the second one went on like a dream and is completely rock solid. So I could have recieved one from a bad batch. Your milage may vary.

The best substitution for the 990pro
I have my 990pro headphones and it’s Better than the original. It’s very comfortable, help a lot for the bass, I don’t feel my swear on the headphone because the cooling effect. It fit perfect on the headphone and the thickness no problem because is very confy

Just get the OEM pads.
Using these was not a good experience. The "cooling" effect is just adding water to the pads, as opposed to some material that inherently gets cool like I thought it'd be. They weren't easy to put onto the headphones, and slipped off multiple times in the short while I was using them. Even those aside, it actually had a noticeable, negative impact on the sound quality. I don't know the right words to use, but audio felt less clear than it should've been. I ended up replacing them with OEM pads and now I'm getting the expected sound quality I wanted from these headphones. Two stars because it technically works and it's cheaper than the OEMs, but... you really do get what you pay for.
