So this time of year I love having my doors open but flies are always a real nightmare because they find their way in and then somehow can never negotiate the opening that they came in through to get back out. The magnetic ones don’t work for me and my small dog struggles to get through them and I don’t like the multicoloured plastic ones that were around when I was a kid but I saw these and I thought they look quite distinguished so decided to give them a go.I have quite a wide double door out onto my patio so I bought two of these so that there was plenty of it without stretching it out too thin. I put them up on the existing curtain pole I already had and they look brilliant. They look really nice, they don’t affect the light, they are lightweight and could easily be put on a net curtain wire and are so easy to hang up. The fit for my door is perfect.They aren’t fly proof; nothing is short of closing the doors completely but they have made a big difference and they are great value

apart from having to take care to divide the threads, a good product, easy to install and does the job, what more can you ask?

Vibrant door curtain brightens any garden or door way. Does the job by keeping flies out you do have to put rod in top of curtain to hang it. This is only string and can get tangled sometimes but not hard to untangle.

The product is ok but is light weight and easily tangles.It does work and is easy to install.Low cost, budget fly screen.

Looks good and keeps the insects out

Absolutely useless.the strings get stuck together and create gaps through which the inserts fly.Do not buy, waisted money.

Had one of these years ago and found it very effective, was surprised when tried to buy one this time that they were so hard to find. Seems they’ve been largely replaced by chunky hideous looking chains or fiddly magnetic curtains. Simplest is often the best and I’m happy this does what it’s meant to do and is incredibly simple to install using either Velcro strips or a curtain wire.

Sadly, these curtains for me are not suitable. They tangle too easily and knot up constantly! My 3 year old grand daughter walked through them and they got stuck around her neck - leaving a nastyburn mark... I am sure these would work in a doorway that didn't have a lot of footfall. The only plus is, they are great for keeping flies out.
