The Best
I would like to recommend this product for babies who suffers with eczema. My son had eczema since he was about 6-8 weeks old. He would scratch his face day and night, would not get much sleep, was miserable all the time, his face was inflamed, red, itchy, dry and cracked. I have been to my GP numerous times, but none of the prescribed creams worked or some even made his skin look worse. I tried about 20 different creams and emollients but with no luck at all. He was prescribed steroids which cleared his skin, but all came back since I stopped using it. Luckily my friend suggested to try Dermalex. Even after few applications I noticed a huge improvement, he was not scratching his face and looked much more calm. His eczema cleared completely after 2 weeks.I kept using it for another 5 months and since I stopped his eczema hasn't come back. I know it is a bit pricy, but to be fair the price has gone down a lot since the time I bought it first time. I bought 100g tube and applied cream to my son's face 3 times a day. It lasted me roughly 2 - 3 months, but I suppose if you use it on the whole of your baby's body you might run out faster. I would definitely recommend it. Don't be put off because of the price, it is worth every penny.

great stuff
Arrived 2 days after order. Well packaged and undamaged.Took a real gamble on this due to its big price but my eldest daughters legs were a real mess with eczema. My daughter has always suffered with eczema on the backs of her knees and in the creases of her elbow. But now it seems to be spreading further out from the knee. We have had potions and lotions from the Dr's but nothing seems to get rid of it. These creams normally take it down but it's always still visible as red patches. Her latest outbreak the creams didn't touch it. So I went for this having read the reviews. With the first application within an hour I had noticed an.immediate reduction in the redness on her legs. The skin was no longer dry or itchy. Going in the bath normally causes the eczema to become red again but not on this occasion. Overnight the cream did it's thing and the legs were clear and the skin normal. We have been using it over the last few days and no eczema has reappeared. The cream itself is nice to apply. It doesn't leave a greasy patch on the skin and is quickly absorbed.Would really recommend this cream. It's expensive but will be asking the doctor if we can get this on the NHS. If not will be purchasing more.

Superb
I have an 18 month old who suffers with eczema if he has any contact with detergent or perfume based items. Turning to natural soap based products such as soap nuts minimised the effect, but contact with other people such as nursery and family members would immediately inflame again. We have tried every product going with minimal effect. The little fella suffers terribly with his hands, feet and back. Two weeks of Dermalex has virtually cleared the inflammation and scratching on his feet and back and there has been a 70% improvement on his hands with signs of further improvement . Scratching has reduced dramatically and he is much happierI would have given 5 stars but gave 4 due to the price, we have to be quite liberal with the cream and therefore the larger tube lasts about two weeks making the treatment very expensive. We are hoping to reduce the amount of usage in timeHighly recommendedN.b. Bought the first tube from the chemists who stated that they had received a lot if positive feedback about the product6 months laterHave been using dermal ex for 6 months now and my sons skin has improved dramatically , we use he dermal ex as a barrier , with a tiny amount on his problem spot which s ankles and hands, however he suffers literally no discomfort these days - any flare up we use HC45 and this item - the two combined restore normality overnight - brilliant - it deserves five stars , but not at the price being charged

I would recommend this to anyone to at least try
My 7 month old son suffered from awful eczema since birth due to cows milk intolerance. Creams, both steroid and emollient, which were provided by the hospital helped partially along with eliminating any dairy from his diet. Tried this cream after doing some reading about it and it has made a huge difference. His skin on his legs which although no longer was flaring up with the prescribed creams still felt rough and thicker than his normal skin. Within a week of using dermalex you couldn't tell that he had eczema. Now down to using once a day to keep the eczema under control, haven't had to use any steroid cream in weeks. Word of warning though, I ran out recently and didn't have a new tube so had to wait a few days to get a new one and in that short time I could see the eczema coming back. For my son at least continuous application is neede to keep his eczema under control. Fabulous product, I would recommend this to anyone to at least try.

Only effective initially..
It worked initially on inflamed red eczema patch on my 6 month old but it seemed to have become less effective now. Also it seem to treat eczema but it does not appear to have much moisturising effect so you'll still need to apply plenty of moisturiser on top of Dermalex. So far Aveeno cream is the only product that really moisturise my baby's skin well.

It’s not for everyone I guess but for us it worked
To be honest after looking and trying basically everything on my baby’s skin and not managing to stop eczema get inflamed, this cream did miracles. After few days of using 2-3 times a day the inflammation and eczema gone. After a week it was completely gone. Now I’m using just once a day and sometimes every second day but always after shower or bath. It’s safe, no smell and no steroids. It’s expensive but as long as it does a good job I don’t mind to pay this price. The presentation of the package I like it because it’s simple.
