I didn't expect this kit to be so nice. But it's exactly as advertised, it's a complete kit of commonly needed fuses, already organized in a nice little box. No little bags to unpack, no assembly required. It's ready to go in your service kit for when you need it. I recently paid over $5 for a little bag of five 3 amp 5mm fuses at Fry's, and should have bought this kit instead. It came to my front door in less than a day, thanks to Amazon Prime. My only complaint is the fuse values on the 5x20mm fuses are hard to read, but that can just be my tired eyes. Now I'd like to see a slow-blow kit like this one.

Getting hard to find the old glass fuses locally. Good set to have around

Needed one fuse to replace blown fuse in automotive air pump. Could not find it at any local auto parts store. Ended up getting the replacement fuse on Amazon. The package arrived promptly. For the price I expected to pay at the auto store for 1 fuse or maybe a 5 pack, I ended up with this box of 250 fuses! The replacement fuse worked perfectly, so I place two additional replacements with the air pump, for potential future problems. That leaves me with 247 fuses, in an assortment of sizes and amperages in a convenient storage box, that I can resort to in the future.

Awesome little thing. 4 stars due to packaging. Plastic seems cheap and clip also seems cheap. But for $10 and you get multiples of every size, it’s worth it. Very compact container. Would buy again

Look Good- Nice Assortment for a good price!

I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I can't believe Ace Hardware wanted $5.99 for ONE fuse. The label was taped on the outside of the box, not the inside, though it did still correspond to the correct compartments. The packaging was unacceptable. It was placed into a padded envelop, and the lid obviously cracked in transit. I put some tape on it and called it good, since this is a cheap garage item, but it sure irks me. To answer some bad info on Amazon regarding 125V fuses. The voltage rating refers to the arcing protection provided after a fuse blows. You can always put a 250V fuse in place of a 125V. Your 120V house wiring will still not arc over a 250V burnt fuse, so you're good to go. Just don't put a 125V fuse in place of a 250V. Your 240V house wiring will easily arc over the burnt 125V fuse. Amps, on the other hand, need to be exactly what the equipment is rated to have. Less, and you'll blow fuses when there's no risk of damaging the device, more and you will damage the device if there's a surge or power draw spike.

Pretty nice to have a bunch of these old type of fuses. DON'T spill the contents. It's extremely difficult to read the ratings of the fuses on the ends. The "fuse" part is tiny and doesn't really give you a gauge on whether the fuse you're looking at is a 5 or 30 amp unit.

Arrived right away, exactly as described, good quality and price

Working in Maintenance and service, you come across all manners of equipment and controls. From building automation to trash compactors, everything has circuit protection. This kit has proved useful more times than I can count, easily offsetting the meager $17.99 price tag. Some of the heftier sized fuses may live my lifetime in this sturdy organizer case but I'm never too concerned that I DON'T have the correct size. Well worth its price just as insurance. Worth beyond its price tag in peace-of-mind.
