Bought this after some bad experiences with Thermos products that leaked. This is a really nice container. Keeps things hot - I measured boiling water at ~140C eight hours later, in line with the specs on their website. My coffee that I brew at 7am is still piping hot at 11am and noticeably hotter than other double walled flasks I have used. Not dishwasher safe, but comes apart into three components very easily and is a breeze to hand clean. The only thing that would make it better would be a carry handle of some kind or something I could attach a clip to. Highly recommended.

Zojirushi is the brand to buy. It keeps hot food hot. My kid sometimes use it to keep food warm till dinner if they have club, and hot food prepared 8am are still warm 5pm. I tried several other brand and simply didn't work. This particular model, the lid is one piece, so easy to deal with.

Excellent for all ages! Don’t waste money on. Cheep one. Keeps food wam, my high schoolers love them. Very easy to clean.

Previously I used a small version of the older style for lunch at work. It worked well to keep the contents warm. It was not 100% leak proof and required a little care when carrying depending on contents. This was not usually a problem for me. However, I am now home and my husband tried using it and is not so careful. The lid also has more parts to disassemble and clean. Again, not much an issue for me but he was not so willing. The typical alternatives just don’t work as well or have their own distinct issues. So I was excited to see the updated version and I bought both the larger and smaller size. The lid is just two pieces that are easy to disassemble and clean. Although he he really doesn’t need to, my husband willingly did this himself. As advertised, they have been leakproof and appear to work just as well as the previous version. I can’t comment on durability given how new these are. But I am still using one of their insulated coffee containers daily after 6 years of daily use with no leaking or decline in performance. This is despite a pet that delights in knocking it off the kitchen counter almost daily and many drops while full on the garage floor as well. No parts replaced yet. My mother is also still using one of the same age. Then again their rice cookers seem to work forever. I still have my first Zojirushi that I bought in the early 1990’s. The newest is probably about a decade old now and due to a scratch (my fault) in the bowl I just bought a replacement. It’s nice to see that there are still some companies making products that last and willing to support their products with replacement parts for more than just a couple years.

Cute design! Used for carrying toddler food, very good at keeping the temperature! (steam came out when I opened the lid) The size is perfect for one. Seals great, soup would not leak.
