It holds a lot of brushes, but maybe not 24. You can see if there is a wide handled brush in a slot there is no room to put another brush in front if it. However that’s not a problem as long as you don’t have too many wide handles, just be aware and play with the layout. It is very sturdy and a nice thick canvas. I will probably not fold down the top over my brushes- it’s not tall enough to do that, but rolled up my brushes aren’t falling out. They are snug and secure.I’m using this at home as well as travel- it helps me stay organized so I’m not always searching for the right brush when I’m painting. I like it so much I bought two

Just received my paintbrush holder and am very pleased. It's made of sturdy canvas material (not flimsy at all) and is well stitched. It easily holds brushes up to 12 inches long which is fine for me as I have mostly short handled watercolor brushes. It has two horizontal pockets with10 rows of vertical stitching to form 1 inch wide pockets for individual brushes. Short handled brushes go in front and longer brushes can go in the back row. There's also a pocket on the left side about 4 inches wide for holding wider brushes. I have about 15 brushes which it holds easily with plenty of room for more. When rolled and tied, it holds everything in place snugly. The bottom is sewn closed so the brushes can't slide out the bottom. I suppose they could fall out the top if you turned it upside down and shook it but I don't think that's a problem. I haven't actually traveled with it yet but I believe it will hold my brushes in place and keep them protected. The color is dark army green which is okay with me as it won't show dirt. This is exactly what I needed to store my brushes securely!

All of the brushes that I need when I go to a little watercolor workshop fit nicely in this rollup that is very sturdy and easy to fit into my bag without having brushes fall out.

I use sable brushes and want to make them last. This is a convenient way for me to transport them safe,y.

When I purchased this, I wasn't sure exactly what I needed. I only knew that I had a problem transporting my model painting brushes, and that some people I knew used similar products to this one.When I opened it up, I was immediately impressed by the build quality. Good materials and excellent stitch work, I'm confident this will last as long as I continue to not destroy it myself. As for the job it's supposed to do, I have the full line of Citidel model painting brushes and a few extras of similar size. I found nice places for all of them and a system for sorting them that makes sense to me. This brush holder keeps them secure at exactly the right points on the handle to keep the brush hair clean and safe. The strings are exactly the right length to loop them both and do a nice slip knot, so it's secure and easy to open.It even LOOKS nice, all rolled up next to my paint collection. I love it

The material is high quality and feels nice. That being said it isn't quite wide enough. It ruined the tips of some of my larger brushes and I had to throw them out.

With all brushes it is imperative to keep them clean and dry and flat. This product is lightweight and versatile. The size is good for traveling and then spreading out where you begin to paint all things in order immediately this was quite affordable. I like my wrap
