I've been buying these for years from Maple Leaf Farms. Unfortunately, they currently don't carry it on their website but this retailer does through Amazon. Only slightly more expensive and still quite reasonable. Just thaw, bake and if you like crisp the skin in the broiler or with a torch. Bone-in, it's not a huge serving but very rich, tender and flavorful. Anything from Maple Leaf Farms is worth looking at. Great products. These shipped to the rural west coast in 6 days and arrived full frozen.

Have been enamored of duck confit during numerous trips to France, I was eager to try the American version. While it was flavorful and had nice texture, there wasn’t enough of the crispy skin that makes it a perfect dish. The extra fat the skin provides enhances the flavor and texture of the leg. Still, this is the closest we’ve come to the perfect duck leg confit in the US.
