A very exceptional story with plenty of excitement and twist and suspense. There was Surprise on every pages. I will be reading this book again.

If you are a true Harry Patterson (aka Jack Higgins) fan and have read his books over the years you may be aware of the lazy, mercenary side clearly demonstrated in this book. It is a rewrite of the 1966 Paul Chavasse book Midnight Never Comes, right down to the very same characters, locations, and story. The only difference is he replaced Paul Chavasse with Sean Dillion.Now that is the epitome of a lazy low life.

Great history lesson on Hong Kong!! I think I read this book in one day so get prepared to read in one sitting as once you start, it is hard to put down!!

My brother and I have read all this series. We enjoy rereading them. Jack is such a great story teller that you always find new things that you missed or have forgotten in the pages of the manuscript. This one was one of my favorites.

Jack Higgins has always been a favorite of mine and I love the Sean Dillon character. Its an enjoyable series and a quick read.

JACK HIGGINS characters are always described in a manner that allows the reader to feel that they know the person. The main characters area good fit for the exciting story line.Suspense, danger,action, justice--all are included.

Mr. Higgins is the master craftsman of this genre. All of his stories seem to flow effortlessly. I really enjoy living in the world he creates in his novels.

Well-written, as always by "Jack Higgins"; another enjoyable story of the exploits of Sean Dillon and Brigadier Ferguson. Somewhat like James Bond as to whether any of the exploits and escapes from danger are at all possible!! Good escapist stuff to entertain, though.

Enjoyed the book quite exciting

I always enjoy a Jack Higgins book. Even an early Sean Dillon one.. You know what you are going to get. Real life charachters, and a good plot. A good yarn.

The novels by this author is a must read I do so love the series with Sean Dillon as the hero I find them so enjoyable that once i've started to read these books I find it had to put them down and if you like these sort of story lines like I do then it's the book for you. I would highly recommend them. Great story lines. Great read

Another cracking readJack Higgins punches them out with skill and verve. Always a good yarn, decent storyline and action packed.
