Very nice, easy to use
This is the second kind of handprint/photo we have made and I really liked this one. It came with two packs of the dough, which was really easy to kneed and roll out. It also made making the handprint easy and kept the shape of the handprint really well. There weren’t really any instructions, but it was pretty easy to figure out. I think you’re supposed to roll the dough all the way in the rectangle space, but I didn’t do that - I rolled it in more of a circle. But it still fit and worked fine. I would definitely buy again, and plan on getting a couple more for other family members.

Great gift for Mom
This was a very easy kit to create a beautiful keepsake with your child's hand and/or footprint. I used with my 7-month old and love it. I would say the only item to note is the instructions are not super thorough - they are printed on the back of the box and I had a hard time getting the clay perfect in all edges and it has some cracks and wrinkles but its not meant for perfection!Definitely makes a great gift for Mother's or Father's Day

Beautiful baby handprint frame!
Super cute baby handprint frame! I had my 10 yr old daughter help me. The kit has everything you need & the directions are on the back of the box. The clay comes in little pouches. It is very oily at first! You knead it for a little bit then roll out in the frame like in the pictures I attached. The wooden rod that is included is just slightly too long to be able to easily roll it out but we made it work. I let my daughter do that part & I think we took too long cause the clay seemed to start drying out, so I would recommend working quickly with the clay.I have a big 3 month old & was able to fit both his foot & hand in the clay area of the frame. You let it dry for 2 days & then can frame it. They include double-sided tape for attaching the picture to the back of the mat. I included a picture of that & how I placed the tape. The frame comes with plexiglass not actual glass which I liked & it has film on both sides you need to take off. My plexiglass came with a little crack on the bottom of it which must've happened in shipping, but hey better than shattered glass everywhere. In the end I was so happy with it! It looks so cute in my living room and I'll have a lasting memory of how cute his little hands & feet were.

Good product but takes two people to get a good imprint
Very nice product, relatively easy to use, and looks nice. You have to push down very hard to leave a decent imprint and it took us several tries, with two people, to get one that was usable. The hard part is you have to either hold it level, or hold the clay in place because it does not stick to the base. We tried to use it on our two month old while she was napping, but it kept falling out and getting wrinkly so we had to re-knead it and flatten it out several times. It took two people to get a decent imprint, and we had to do it while she was nursing. So not the easiest process, but overall not too bad since we didn’t have to clean anything up, and once we got a good impression of her hand and food we were done. The spots for the pictures are a bit small, but it works because the handprint/footprint is the main attraction. My two month old was around 12 lbs and a bit bigger than the average baby but we were easily able to fit both a handprint and a footprint, with room to spare. In the end, it’s a good product and worth buying. Just make sure you have someone around to help you when you bust it out.

Easy to use
I love that the product comes in a cute package and can easily be given as a gift for baby showers. They include everything that you need to make the keepsake. It comes with the clay, little rolling pin and tape. The directions are very easy to use but one thing they don't mention is that the clay will be oily and you most likely will get it on the frame but that's okay because it will be covered by the top frame and not noticable. I was able to fit my son's foot and hand in the frame and he's 17 months.

Very happy that we bought this!
We bought this to use with our daughter when she was only a few weeks old. We found the clay to be a bit on the hard side and dried faster than expected (to be fair, as first time parents we were fumbling a bit and might have taken longer than most people.) Even with a bit of difficulty getting the clay smooth and the impressions done, we ended up with a beautiful finished product that we will treasure forever. The frame and mat are a very nice quality and makes for a really beautiful keepsake!

Great concept, but outcome left a lot to be desired.
I loved this concept. Got it to memorialize my wife and mine’s first child’s newborn size. I wanted to have something to remember just how small he is.First, the clay that came with our kit seemed to be secreting some kind of liquid, felt like a slick oil, out of it. Once that was cleaned up we tried it out. The clay that comes with the kit is not very malleable. In order to get a quality imprint (the kind you imagine when you get a kit like this) we would have had to press much harder than i was confortable forcing my newborn to do. I am curious if the liquid that seemed to secrete out was supposed to have been mixed into the clay, making it more pliable and easier to use. Our results were a sloppy handprint that way maybe a mm deep in the clay (that was not much more than an outline, no real detail) and a similar footprint that didnt even show 2 of his toes.I wish the kit included at least one more pack of clay for some trial and error work (like possibly adding some water to the clay), as i think that is going to be a must for this kind of “project”. We will have to resort to purchasing additional clay on our own to attempt this again, re-using the frame from this kit. The fact that you can re-use the frame is really the main saving grace in all of this.As a side note, mostly user error/ignorance: if you plan on using this with a newborn anticipate it being harder in practice than in theory. Our kid refused to allow his hand to go flat for a nice print. He would ball it up, dig his finger tips in more than the palm, or have the thumb tucked away under the palm. Even when sleeping. If someone had cautioned me on this stuff, I probably wouldnt have purchased this kit. Id recommend considering an ink-stamp type frame kit for a newborn instead. Live and learn.

Damaged
It arrived broken. The frame is very poor quality. I would definitely not recommend purchasing this item.
