I keep my phone in my pocket. I don't want loose change or anything else to scratch my phone while it is in my pocket. This case has a cover that closes over the front of the phone. It saves the screen from getting scratched. This case also allows me to use a wireless charger at high speed. (I love wireless charging). I also like the hinge material. I tried another case but that one's hinge was flimsy and the case never closed correctly. This one is rigid enough that the front flap closes correctly. This case does not make the phone too bulky to fit into my pocket. It does offer some protection to the entire outer case of the phone. It is not too slippery to hold on to but you should exorcize caution when holding. (A little texture would help. My old S9+ LED case had a fabric pattern that I liked better.)

I haven't tested all the features of this product (I hope it takes a very long time before I test the 12ft drop protection claim), but so far the case and protectors are working well.Everything was easy to install and this was my first time not getting an annoying air bubble trapped under the case. Here's to long-lasting protection of a wonderful phone.🥂

I love the fact that the case is very tough as described. The edges are a lot firmer than all other "rugged" cases I had on my previous phones. It's so hard that you have to follow direction, break it into 2 pieces and sandwiched your phone in. It's not going anywhere.DO NOT TRY TO SLIP IT FROM THE FRONT! I had warned ya, because I made this mistake, and it got stuck there pretty well. I risked damaging my phone to finally get it out.The bracket tho, is another story. The belt clip broke within a week after wearing it on the belt. It's thin plastic and easy to break.

Only reason I'm returning this is because I was looking for something a little thicker. With that said this case was really nice and the Leather was beautiful it was just so soft that it was flimsy. Nice looking case over all.

Absolutely stunning! Fairly good drop protection for everyday use but this case is not as protective as an OtterBox so if it's more for the protection that you need one I wouldn't recommend, but for everyday general use it's great. Hasn't yellowed at all yet after almost 4 months of use like OtterBox clear cases do. Buttons are easy to use and all charging ports and a pen ports are accessible. Love casemate brand. Now have 3 different colors because of the prime deal days!
