Professor Brian Cox does it again with another exemplary, stunningly photographed five part series about the Human Race, our place in the Cosmos, and our possible future.Great Narration, some complex scientific theories clearly explained in layman's terms, and the final episode about the future contains tragic moments such as the extremely recent Virgin Galactic spacecraft crash, but ends on an optimistic note for the future.Very, very highly recommended, a definite five star must buy.Can't wait for his next series.

Truly fascinating. I'm 90 and of course lot goes over my head, by I really feel enriched by any of Brian Cox's DVDs. Thank you for the expeience.

Explains, at least to my satisfaction where we came. We dont need Gods and miracles. The details and the maths are beyond most folks comprehension but the truth is in there somewhere and Brian Cox does a great job of trying to educate those who will listen. On a lighter note its just great TV.

I bought this for my husband to be for Christmas. He absolutely loves it and was playing it on a loop for days. The content covered by Brian gave my husband lots of insights to many previously unanswered questions. This DVD provides a true education on human life in a modern and engaging way. The visuals, content and sounds are stunning, just what you would expect from the BBC.

Professor Brian Cox makes every topic seem so interesting !! The documentary is so good documented and the scenery used is just amazing. Many ideas presented in the documentary are keeping me awake at night now, especially the Fusion power principle. What a good investment this documentary was. Amazon delivered everything in 4 working days to Germany with a tiny shipping cost, what can I want more? 5 stars

Brilliant, informative and educational delivered in layman's terms to aid understanding of a complex subject. Professor Cox has the ability to explain in simple terms/demonstrations how man is believed to have developed over thousands of years..i could go on for ever about this excellent set of DVD's ...excellent value for money and service.

I watched the Wonders series, so I knew Prof Cox was great at presenting ideas and explaining complex concepts, but even knowing that, this series blew me away with raising such profound questions and telling such a touching story about our origins and development. If it was up to me, every child would see this around the age of 12-13, it gives you such a wide perspective on life and helps to find your place in the world. Even at the age of 40 it gives you questions to think about. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great Series about Humans no really evolution but about human life now and in the future, although it does look at where we come from. Sort of looking at intelligent life and what intelligence has bought humanity over time and where it might take us. also looks at are there other intelligent beings out there.
