My ice crusher finally kissed the dust, so I had to find another way to crush ice. This ICE MAKER is AMAZING! I no longer crush ice...this little baby makes SONIC nugget ice. I use filtered water, even though there is a filter in the water compartment. Its very easy to use once you have learned how to use it. I have had this since February 24-2024 and I am very happy with it. The only things I would say is #1 it is a LITTLE noisy but not noisy enough to make it a bad purchase. #2 The time it takes to make a full container of ice is about 3-4 hours. So if you need ice for a party, you need to start early to make enough! I would recommend and buy again! I haven't had to call customer service, so can't tell you anything about that.

Three months in and it stopped making ice. Worked great while it made ice but this is an expensive machine to fail after only three months. System thinks it needs water even though it is full and then does absolutely nothing. Trouble shooting and support from manufacturer is none existent. Don't waste your money, cause you can't get it back on this piece if junk.Update: been working with upstream to either get the system working or replace it. Customer service is so bad if I could change it to negative stars I would. They are instructing to dismantle the system to take pictures of pipes I can't get to. Been going through maintenance with cleaners to no avail. Finally get them to send a new system, never received it but got a message from customer support with a tracking number four days after FedEx says it was delivered. We still do not have a resolution. Absolutely 100% stay away from this product and this company.Update 2: replacement unit failed as well! Did exactly what the first did, tells me it is out of water even though it is full. Followed all the maintenance and cleaning instructions and used the provided and recommended cleaner every two weeks. If this company doesn't refund my purchase Amazon should ban all their products. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SYSTEM!

This is one of the best product I have purchased. Easy to set up (heavy), easy to use, and reliable. The ice is perfect sonic type, continuous ice making so you never run out. If the ice melts it uses to water to make more. Always a full basket of ice.

Update: the company reached out after my review and replaced the ice maker. The new one is much quieter and works better/faster. Thanks! Bought to use in my kitchen but it is noisier than my fridge and dishwasher combined. Turns off too quickly and does NOT fill the ice bucket. You would have to empty every hour (or less) to get it to make the amount of ice they claim it can make in 24hrs. The ice is OK-soft better after bagged and put in a deep freeze.

This is the 3rd one I got in 1.5 year. The first one was working ok for the price but suddenly died in 1 year. 2nd one was a joke. Started making a loud noise and fan stopped working in 1 week. Had to break the big ice by myself. This one makes a lot of tasty ice, Always plenty. Worth the money.

The machine worked great at first. I purchased it in September. By the first of the year the motor was getting louder and we noticed it started leaking from the bottom of the machine. I’m trying to reach out to customer service to see what they’re going to tell me. I’ll update my review once I get in contact with them.

Original review “Purchased May 6, 2023. Worked great except one incident when the machine indicated it needed water but it was full. Apparently it was a stuck float switch which started working properly. Machine worked great until Saturday, February 3, 2024 when it started making a loud screeching noise. Unplugging the machine stops the noise and when plugged in again it works fine, makes ice but eventually starts the screeching sound again. Expensive machine for eight months service.”I cleaned the machine with a white vinegar and water mix (1 part vinegar to 4 parts water). Ran it through three consecutive cleaning cycles, drained and ran two cleaning cycles with clean water. Since restarting the machine works like new. Meanwhile the Upstreman company offered a full refund through Amazon which we appreciate but can not accept.

I pulled this product out of the box all excited about it, read the manual front to back, added water and let it go. Man... Straight out of the box this thing doesn't work. Keeps telling me to add water even though the reservoir is full. I messed with it for over an hour trying to get it to detect the water, I was determined to make it work, but unfortunately never got a single ice cube. I can't figure out how to get support to get a replacement. - Update, a full refund was given.
