It stitches my monocular to a surface like a super glue
I did not even expect this, but the Mini is exceeding my expectations. First of all, it is extremely small. Yes, it is still attachable to some thin rods or branches, where it is possible to wrap around its 5cm legs. But the magnetic legs ends is a strength! It stitches my monocular to a surface like a super glue, so whatever is less than max 325 grams sits very well. Did not try full load though. The only thing is that some of joints are as stiff as all usual Joby creatures are, so this is not bad, not good, just a reality. It covers all my needs and suits very well to the tasks I wanted.

Pretty durable
I have mine mounted with a GoPro hero 4 with the extended battery pack. I had it gripping the handle bars on a 24v ATV. Camera fell off... Was run over by the ATV. The legs popped off at the neck of the tripod. I popped it back on & just like new. Still working fine lol.

and made them a pretty bothersome downside
Took this thing with me all over the southwest of the US. We vlogged at Las Vegas, Death Valley, Grand canyon, Monument valley, and Zion national park. Overall it performed very well on my Canon G7X Mark II. The magnets, however, are kind of a gimmick on the G7X. They are strong enough if you put it on solid metal upside down or standing up -- but you really don't find that very often. Sideways and they just can't hold this camera. They really only came in handy one time when I was able to attach it to a metal railing at an overlook and film a timelapse. At Death Valley I made the mistake of shoving it into a sand dune to prop the camera up for a timelapse at the top of one of their sand dunes. Unfortunately, the sand had magnetic properties, so it stuck to the bottom of this tri-pod and it was literally impossible to clean it all off. There is still some on the bottom of the tripod a month after the trip. The grains are so small it is difficult to grab them with anything and the magnet keeps it stuck to the feet of the tripod. It kind of took the gimmick of magnetic feet, and made them a pretty bothersome downside. I thought I'd like them, but they have been more nuisance than asset. Anyways, the tripod is solid and I am going to use it on another vlogging trip this weekend. I do recommend it. But if you're like me and think the magnets are going to be potentially life changing -- you should probably think again. It is just another Joby Tripod.

It's great to screw on my Canon Powershot GX9 Mark 2
So tiny, I carry it in my small purse in one of the pockets. It's great to screw on my Canon Powershot GX9 Mark 2.

Not strong construction, breaks easily, but i like the small size and weight
It's the perfect very small size, and nice and lightweight. However, mine broke at the neck, like other users have reported. It was just from adjusting the neck too many times I guess. Now that it's broken, it snaps off easier. I'm debating seeing if I can get a replacement one. I may just glue it and keep it. It's so small and light. In fact, before you buy, check my picture and others here, to be sure you want it this small for your purposes. AND if you DO buy it, do NOT tweak the neck if you can help it.

LOVE IT!
Love this lil guy! It’s great for travel and it’s so cute. I bought another joby product that screws in to hold the phone. It works great! The magnet feature is an added bonus. I love it for family shots and action shots. Finally I can be in the pics too!

Joby is a brand that we have always used when we go for Gorilla tripods. Their quality is great and the product lasts for a long time. This new addition of Magnetic Gorilla pod mini is a great addition to the family, it's a great size for smaller cameras such as a GoPro, and the magnetic feets are strong enough to hold the weight of a GoPro 7 when placed against a kitchen fridge. The size is just right to be used as a handle when walking around with the GoPro as well. Overall a happy purchase and would recommend for someone who uses a small camera like a GoPro.

This will be my second mini Gorillapod-magnetic I've owned. The previous one survived a year of abuse before one of the joints cracked, resulting in one of the legs coming loose. Although that may be due to the fact i left it in the sun for too long which weakened the plastic. For £13.49 i think a year of use is good going! On the box it claims the tripod can hold a camera weighing up to 325g horizontally when attached to a metal surface. I tested this with a couple boxes of staples and a phone mount and it holds up well. Although I won't recommend going heavier than this as it didn't take much more for the tripod to become unstuck. Great for sticking your GoPro onto your car roof or door quickly for low speed rolling-videos or when taking time lapse shots. I find traditional tripods too bulky and slow to set-up. This having magnets means your camera won't budge when stuck onto a car roof during windy situations. When backpacking I can mount this onto gates, branches, chairs etc without the need for a bulky tripod. A great and versatile product overall and one I keep bring me every time I travel.

Son los adecuados para cámaras tipo gopro hero 5 s. , O celulares ligeros, para camaras no deportivas no las recomiendo, mejor considera uno mas grande si usaras una camara no deportiva

Really robust less than 6” in length which is perfect for its intended used which is to act as a mini selfie stick and support for my action camera particularly whilst on holiday in theme parks. It has magnetic feet too which support the weight of the tripod and attached action cam - definitely recommended
