I purchased this for the birds to get a shower in this very hot and dry weather we are having right now. It is a super fine mist and just what I wanted. I've only been using it for 2 days and haven't seen any birds using it yet, but after they realize it isn't a "trap" they will, I hope at least. I turn it on for 20 minutes and then it mists for at least 15 more minutes as the hose continues to drain. I couldn't find out how much water it actually uses, but I don't think it's very much. I guess I'll find out when I get my water bill.

The hose came off the firt tine I tried to screw it onto my water hose. Would not buy again.

I have this Cobra mister on my backyard deck. It was intended for us to sit comfortably outside during hot summer days, but a curious thing happened … the fine mist attracted small birds to a refreshing shower. I put some large outdoor plants and vegetables plants near it so it quickly became multi-purpose! Good product and sometimes hard to find so grab one!

Love the ease of using it but would suggest that the connection points could be more securely connected perhaps with a clamp. Overall easy to use and definitely keeps you cool.

The dang thing broke the very first time I used it . The part that attached to the water hose blow off and I was unable to fix it since the metal thing inside the foam cover was bent and even after I cut bent part off to reattach it didn’t work . And ye so used a waterproof glue to reattach and jet it dry for a few days.

We used this for the poultry free range area on our farm. It’s been super hot here and this gentle mist helped cool things down. When it got too hot though, the area became steamy…

We like that the mister can be placed anywhere. We used it to help the Hummingbirds and other birds keep cool during the hot days.
