It works great with my la Marzocco filter.

Solid, really good weight, with straight sides fitting a La Marzocco single dose 7g basket. This basket has recessed, lower chamber holding 7g coffee grinds. Also tamper has nice tapered handle that fits hand's palm, instead of a narrow shaft.

The product are good and firmly to use its. It is convenient to use and firmly to temp.

This is Chinese made but it’s not garbage, far from it. Buy it, you won’t regret it.

I will admit my first one wasn't quite the right fit, but Amazon swapped it out and the replacement works great. It's a heavier base than even my 58mm Rattleware tamper, so it has a good feel. Hope I don't drop it on my toes! Works as expected for a La Marzocco LM1 / F.029 single espresso basket, or VST 7g, at a fraction of the price of the forum recommended German one.

The tamper and paired funnel is made specifically for the old style La Marzocco single shot basket and others styled after it. It’s hefty and well made.Unfortunately the tamper fits the funnel too tightly and creates a vacuum when you lift which disturbs the tamped puck. It is easy to feel the vacuum, simply put the funnel in your palm and simulate tamping. To work around you can lift the funnel over the tamper until the tamper base is through and then lift the tamper but it is fiddly and not a great experience. Overall not worth the $50-$60 investment.

This 51mm leveler works fine for me. I use it with a Kazak Rota 2 manual espresso maker.Its weight (about 300g--see photo) is sufficient to level without much tamping.I give it a few clockwise spins and get a nicely leveled puck, ready for the tamper, every time.It's not the most beautiful gravity leveler on the market, but it works great. It's also much less expensive than the prettier ones.I highly recommend this leveler.
