I have a small preschool in my home and we do lots of animal study and activities so I thought that this would be a great addition. The detail is all quite good on the animals and trees. But the two things that are not good is that the scale of the animals is not accurate: the beavers are extremely large and the squirrel and bunny are also pretty big so that’s disappointing. I also am questioning why they would include a domestic Lamb in this set? Why is a farm animal in a woodland set? Extremely odd. But if you can get over those factors, then this is a great set.

These wildlife figures are cute and fun. I am using them to create outdoor scenery for my dollhouse. These look great! My Maine coon cat likes to play with the smaller figures, batting them around, so those are his now. (He doesn't bite or chew them. so he is safe.) As the photo shows, the trees are smaller scale than the animal figures. They can probably be remade into one tree or shrub by a crafty person or donated for use in a smaller scale such as trains or holiday towns.

Cute, but they are NOT the sizes listed. They are in the general ballpark, but some are a good bit bigger than listed. I want to use them in snow globes in mason jars, but only 4 of the animals fit.

My son LOVES animal figures and toys-he is Autistic/ASD and he will put them in a pool of water, line them up, play jungle with them-he just really likes that sort of thing. So I just had to order this set. And he was ecstatic when I showed him. The figures are all awesome-great colors, well made and the size is the best. These aren’t tiny little cake decor figurines-these are legit toy set size. Most of them are at least 3in tall and up to 6-7in long, which is great for playing or adding to a collection or scene. They all stand up one their own and they’re easy to set up and play with and they are very sturdy. The material or type of plastic they use is thick, hard but still soft to hold. But it makes the figures durable. This set’s price is a deal, it’s a decent value no matter what you plan to use them for! They are versatile and can be used for: play, display, adorn a birthday cake, decorate and more. This set would be a cool gift and I recommend this set.

My son’s preferred playthings are plastic, realistic animal figures. This set has a wonderful variety, providing new animals to add to his collection; looking at you, beavers! I’m scratching my head about the little lamb being with this set, but it’s still cute. A wild boar, bear or even a skunk would’ve been more in alignment with the theme. I love that the trees have varied shaping and positioning which would look really neat on a woodland themed tiered cake. That actually was my initial plan for this set: with an upcoming birthday, I had planned to wash and use for a birthday cake, but they were discovered by my kiddo before that could happen. Oh well! He loves them so happy kiddo, happy mama! The critters are made from a sturdy, dense plastic so these should provide lots of enjoyment for a long time to come!

First I want to say this set is priced reasonably well. Second, the pieces are well made and very heavy duty. The paint job is decent, too. Third, I like the variety of animals included. I intend to use this set during our forest habitat lesson for my son.Now on to the reason for one star being removed. Scaling is very off. The trees are shorter than most of the animals. This part isn't the big deal, though. But...the rabbit should not be as big as fox. The Squirrel is huge, too. Also, there's an animal that looks like a sheep, but I am not really sure what it is, so a list of creatures would have been appreciated. The beavers are also sized very differently, with one being as large as the buck! This is why I removed one star. Other than that, this set is great.

Feels like one of those typical movie scenes where the characters are playing "I Spy" or "Guess What I Am Thinking" in which the answer is always the same: "Tree"What is the point of having half of the figures be trees? Also, the trees are the wrong size for these animals.The animals themselves are well made, but they really need more animals and more variety. The deer family is nice, but the beavers are not as cute, and what's with the sheep?Oh, and I was not aware that animals celebrated Christmas--"evergreen" would have been a better description.
