DIVEVOLK Underwater +8 Close-up Lens, Optical Wet Lens for DIVEVOLK SEATOUCH 4 MAX housing

THis lens is very useful in closeup photography. If you are a muck diver or dive in environments with lots of macro this lens is a great addition to the DV system. It is very easy to screw on to the DV clamp adapter and sit over ur phone camera lens. Disable the macro mode on ur phone, so when u get close you will primarily resort to this lens for the closeup shots. The lens quality is very good and at a very good price. If you are into closeup photography this is a must have accessory for your DV system

Just to clear what is advertised is not what you get! The true description should be “ Underwater +8 Close-up Lens, Optical Wet Lens for Seatouch 4 max housing and camera” and state “ The close-up lens provides the effect of magnification and diopter +15, which allows the camera focus at a very short distance.”. That is from the Divevolk site. Picture is not correct either. Looks like there is no such thing as a +15. Will keep it check it out though. Price was correct for was was received.

The quality of this macro lens is amazing! Perfect for capturing seaslugs underwater. This will fit in the expansion clamp for the Divecolk Seatouch 4 Max underwater casing. My new iPhone 15 Pro Max has 5x optical zoom and this lens with the 15x, allows you to even zoom further. Highly recommend if you love to take macro shots underwater.

This lens is not what I expected. Apparently, you have to order a $200 attachment in addition to the lens, to get this to put on your iphone. I will be returning it.

For the price this lens is hard to beat.It is well made and threads up nicely.Of course the lens arrived in perfect condition, scratch free.This lens is perfect for extreme closeup photos and on top of that it is distortion free.I can not see any issues with this lens lasting me many years to come.5 STARS

My brother is a big fan of this brand, DIVEVOLK. He has a small media team and they shoot a variety of content. I know the PD is always interested in shooting in various environments including underwater.So as soon as I saw this on my recommended this, I didn't hesitate to request it! And he was more than happy to have this lens. Over the weekend, he tested this underwater. And I am pleased to report that this one was indeed a great lens to magnify the objects you are shooting.In light of my experience with other DIVEVOLK that are being used underwater, I expect this to be durable as well.

I am really going to like this lens!!!To achieve 15x before I had to stack three heavy lenses that stuck out soo far I often bumped my subject, before even getting a good shot. Not to mention each one of those heavy lenses cost more than this lens did!With this lens I will get better shots not having to stack lenses and most of all it is so much lighter. Even with floats on my camera all those heavy metal lenses would make my wrist sore by the end of a dive.I don't know how they make this lens rated to 200 feet for about 1/3 of the cost compared to other underwater lens makers.Time to plan a dive trip!!!!!!

This add-on macro lens uses standard 67mm filter threads and attaches to the Divevolk housing's filter ring. The lens itself seems to be pretty good quality, especially at this price point; it's a wet auxiliary lens.I tested it out in a pool and it worked as expected and I got good macro shots of various tiles, pool drains, and scuppers. Unfortunately, my freshwater dive later was so low viz that all I would've had were nice pics of silt.I do wish the lens had a hard case instead of the mesh and neoprene bag, but that's a very minor quibble with an otherwise nice lens.
