Janome Bobbin Holder for Embroidery (High Tension)

Original Janome part. Works great.

The bobbin case was just as described and worked well with my machine. I had no clue that I need to change it every so often.

The bobbin holder is a must for Janome 9900 embroidery machines. It just kills me that the Janome machine needs to replace the bobbin holder frequently. For an expensive machine, you think the bobbin holder would last more than a few months and you know when you need one. Your embroidery pattern sews with nests and thread pile ups. This is my 4 bobbin holder in the last 2 years. i just am worried since this Janome 9900 is not a new model that The bobbin holder will be come obsolete. Janome was made aware of my concerns and unfortunately did not help me or suggest a solution .

I have a Janome 400e and I had issues with the regular bobbin holder breaking the upper thread and also the bobbin thread would come up through the hole in the needle plate. This was very frustrating because I had to take the shirt off the machine every time this happened. I lost the yellow dot bobbin holder that came with my machine so I had to order one online. Unfortunately, my local stores don't carry Janome bobbins so I had to order a new yellow bobbin holder. It stopped my machine issues without having to oil it and dust under the needle plate so often.

Used on the same fabric with same thread as my old yellow dot holder that gave up the ghost. It continually bunched thread under the plate and nothing I could think to do stopped it on my Janome MC 15000. I finally gave up, yanked it, and put the standard back as it worked better than this thing; although not as well as my original yellow dot bobbin holder for embroidery before it wore out. Was very disappointed. It had “Janome” written on the bag, but not sure it was the real thing as I’ve never had a Janome product work this badly.
