Soft and decadent, and not chocolate!
I was surprised to learn this isn’t considered to be chocolate but instead Milk Gianduia. It’s incredibly soft at any temperature. It’s smooth and milky and has a more subtle taste than milk chocolate. I’m actually pretty picky when it comes to chocolate and I can tell when it’s “cheap”, but this Milk Gianduia tasted decadent and high quality. The hazelnuts added some flavor and crunch to the bar. It’s made in Italy and seen as a luxury, which is why it’s so expensive for a single bar of it. Definitely was interesting and fun to say I’ve tried it without even visiting Italy!

Melted 😞
Was melted, needs better packaging. The chocolate is delicious but not properly packaged for shipping to warm locations.

Decadent, Smooth, Creamy, Perfect Milk Gianduja Chocolate
This was my first time trying Gianduja Chocolate. This type of chocolate has hazelnut butter as 30% of the chocolate, which is likely why it is so smooth and creamy. It was absolutely delicious and I felt like every portion I took a piece of had hazelnuts in it.Now, it’s been 90+ degrees here in Texas, and I credit Amazon and possibly the seller for specifically sending this via UPS with perishable labeling, a thermal pack to hold in cold, as well as a freezer pack to try to deliver this bar in the condition it left the warehouse in. It was delivered later in the day, which resulted it being on the truck all day, and by the time it was delivered it was definitely hot. First thing I did was rush it to the fridge to try to keep it together. That seemed to work and I just opened it today to take a taste. As you can see from the picture some melting did occur, but the bar was mostly still in shape. If you’re ordering this for a gift to a hot environment, it may not be the best choice, but if you’re getting it for yourself, I wouldn’t hesitate!I think I also saw some previous reviews noting expired or near expiration, but my chocolate bar received is good until 3/18/2025 which is about 9 months from when received.

This Is Gianduia, Don't Expect A Chocolate Bar
I have never had Gianduia before so this was surprising to me. It's a much softer texture, lighter and while there is less flavor than a chocolate bar, my husband and I still enjoyed it. It's different, and I'd consider it a nice rare treat if it's something you end up liking, because it is not cheap. It says it's made in Italy which I find neat and interesting. The hazelnuts add a nice flavor to the very lightly flavored bar, and the crunch goes well with the soft texture too in my opinion. The bar is nice and thick, we cut it up in smaller pieces and ate it over a few nights after dinner as a small treat.I think if money isn't an issue, it's definitely worth giving a try! They also have a dark chocolate one that I haven't tried.

Softest chocolate ever
Venchi has the softest chocolate ever. Idk how it didnt let at all, but once bitten into, it starts to melt instantly as to where it's very satisfying and the chocolate is very rich and perfect feeling, super smooth on the teeth and tongue. There are whole organic hazelnuts spread around inside that you can see sticking out from the outside too, they're fresh and add good texture and taste to the bar. I' happy the bar is big enough and can break easily for pieces to last a bit longer because I do want this to last longer than your normal bar, it's just so good. Italian chocolate makers know what they're doing and this is proof of that.
