Only had it one day, so can’t comment on longevity.Have used Meross smart plugs before and they’ve been excellent & reliable (compared to some other brands I’ve bought), so I was confident in choosing this make.Fairly easy to set up. Just a few niggles with WiFi settings but got there in the end. Used both the backing tape and the tabs just to be sure they stay in place.Easy to setup with Alexa (or control through the Meross app). Understands various commands re brightness, colour, etc. Easy to add to routines. Also has a physical switch if you don’t want to use Alexa or the app. It’s just a basic on/off, but it does remember your last settings.For the price, can’t really fault it.

They work well with my Apple HomeKit, so I can manage them from my phone or with Siri.The remote control is handy too, but I mostly use the voice control. The strip is long enough to cover a good area, but if you need more, you might want to get another one. Integrated with HomeKit easily. Working flawlessly. Lights up my stairway!The sticky tape is still holding to this day.They look fantastic and have a wide range of colour. What you expect from a warm white led…They connect to the network using 2.4ghz WiFi so range is decent. But I use a UniFi network with 6 access points in a 3 bed house so my network is never an issue :P

Updated rating:5 months in 3 leds are going out as they don’t display the right colors anymore. They are red when turned on. Was initially excited because the strip was bright and super accurate color wise but definitelt not impressed that this lasted for less than my super cheap smart life strips. At least those were unstuck and stuck back and moved from place to place and they lasted heroically. Meross I’ve installed to turn on with movement on the stairs so it did not move in these 5 months. Not good! I had this item shipped to me in the USA because Meross only offers the RGB version here. I wanted the RGBWW version. I needed to get a USA adapter to use and Meross tech support sent me an Amazon USA link to the adapter.Never had one issue with wifi connectivity, the adhesive is spot on, and the range of colors [especially the whites] is great. Also it's plenty bright enough with the whites - probably could be brighter with the colors - but I bought this one for the whites.Look at the attached pics - I say to Siri "counter teal" and I get teal - I say "counter purple" and I get purple. Love it.
