The media could not be loaded.  So although this was pricier than a plastic one, those has the strong construction to get the job done. I worried that it would make my old hands hurt but it makes the job easier since it’s stronger and doesn’t bend under the pressure. I like to make fresh lemon water to drink each morning and this works well and is quick and easy to clean. When my lemon tree is ready in December I’ll probably use it to make lemon cello. This would probably work on oranges since it’s fairly large. Limes too. But probably not grapefruit.

I use a lot of fresh lemons in my herbal teas. I had been using an old fashioned glass lemon squeezer and then then a strainer to catch the seeds. This method was a lot of work and then I had to clean them both. I will sometimes buy a bay of lemons, squeeze them and put the juice in an ice tray. Once they are frozen, I move them to a plastic freezer bag. This way I grab one and drop in my tea. I did a whole bag of lemons when I received this and could not believe how easy it was. I cut the lemon in half at first but found I could get every drop of the juice by cutting it in quarters. I have a bad wrist but was able to do the whole bag without any pain. I poured the juice into the ice tray and only one small seed escaped the built in strainer that was easy to just pick out. Clean up was a breeze. I wish I had bought this sooner.

Do not put it in the dishwasher that’s for sure. I’m not even sure if it’s made of anything other than lead. I like the way it worked, but this seems kind of dangerous

Pretty and good quality, they also aren't painted like our last ones which were flaking off.These also can handle bigger lemons and limes.They are pretty, functional, and sturdy.
