perfect
was looking for a standard bar looking cue. came in and looked completely different than expected, but was not upset. I think is has a cool wood look, weight feels great, seems straight, smooth glide and feels great on contact. definitely a bargain.

Solid Quality Sticks
Needed to replace 4 house sticks and these are solid quality sticks that shoot very well right out of the box. Just chalk them up and shoot. Very happy with this purchase.

Meh. About what you'd expect for cues that cost around $28 each, but they play well enough.
I bought this cue as a cheap way to experiment with ash shafts on an American-style (12mm ferrule) cue. Also, despite owning pricier cues, I sometimes like seeing if I can win using the cheapest cue imaginable. This cue fits the bill.Pros:- It hits surprisingly well (but see the first con). It's a smooth hit and it does a decent job of transferring the energy to the cue ball.- The tip, once properly shaped, is actually quite usable (but maybe too soft for some). No problems with english. I'll still change it to a better tip sooner or later, but it's good enough for now.- It doesn't look too bad IMO, especially the shafts (but it definitely looks cheap).Cons- The balance feels way off. There appears to be a steel weight in the stock. Combined with the lighter ash shaft, it feels much too back-heavy.- The finish is rough all the way around. The lacquer is substandard. The shaft feels like it could be buffed more. The ferrule has a bit of a texture, so you know it will get dirty and stay dirty.- Non-standard joint.I'm guessing this would be a much better feeling cue if the manufacturer cut about three ounces from the steel weight. But it does the job I intended for it. After playing a few games, I'm pretty sure I could win with this.Since they're so cheap, I'm experimenting by cutting a couple of inches off the back of one of the stocks. This required cutting through the steel weight, but it's doable. I haven't played with the modified stock yet, but it feels much better balanced. The joint is bizarre (the male end is on the shaft), so unfortunately you won't be able to use the shafts on any other cues that I know of. But it assembles and hits fine. These are not cues anyone will gawk over. If these cues cost any more money, they'd be less than 4 stars. But it's a decent enough value for the price.

They are all straight.
These sticks, all four in the order, were straight. I was hoping for 2 or 3 of 4, but I got 4 of 4. Stoked.

Warped after a few months of occasional use
Tips are fair quality one blew up on the first use and another after 2 uses. All of the cues were badly warped after a few months of occasional use. Need to replace them. You get what you pay for. Over all fair quality for the price and will order again if we can't afford better.
