For beginners and pro EV owners
I recently purchased the QPQ Level 1 Level 2 EV Charger, and it has been a fantastic addition to my home charging setup. That was my first choice for my recently brand new Kia Niro EV. I don’t have a charging station at home, and this was the best choice I’ve made. Now I am installing a 240v outlet to exceed even more my expectations. The 16Amp capacity provides a reliable and efficient charge for my EV, ensuring that it’s always ready to hit the road when I need it. The ability to operate within the range of 110v to 240v makes it incredibly versatile, allowing me to use it with different power outlets based on my needs. The 25FT cable length gives me the flexibility to park my car comfortably without worrying about its proximity to the power source. This extended reach is especially useful in various parking situations, both indoors and outdoors, like a hotel situation.I appreciate the inclusion of the NEMA 6-20 Plug & NEMA 5-15 Adapter, which makes it compatible with different electrical outlets. This thoughtful addition ensures that I can use the charger in various locations without any compatibility issues. The Plug-in Home EV Charging Station is user-friendly, and the adjustable amp delayed timer is a fantastic feature. I can conveniently schedule charging during off-peak hours, maximizing energy efficiency and reducing overall charging costs.Overall, the QPQ Level 1 Level 2 EV Charger is a reliable, convenient, and adaptable solution for home EV charging needs. It offers efficient charging, a long cable reach, and compatibility with various power outlets, making it a valuable investment for any electric vehicle owner. I’m delighted with its performance and would highly recommend it to others looking for a quality home charging station.

Great charger with the display
I have a BMW i3 so being such a small battery a 110v is all I use to charge it. I wanted a charger with a display that would tell me how much power has been put into the battery. This charger does just that. It tells you how many amps you're pulling and how much power has been put into the battery in total. I use this to estimate the cost if each charge at home. This is also a great way to estimate the state of heath of your battery if you run it all the way dead and then charge it all the way to full.

not IP65 rated- only IP54
Seems like an easy option for level 2 charging- advertising as IP65 rated (Which is likely only the plug) but the charger is only IP54 and states not to be used in the rain which is a big problem to discover after purchase.

Definitely an improvement over the factory level 1
Been using it for a bit now. Decreased charge time from 14 hours to under 3. Not bad. Not bad at all. Unit seems very solid, glad this was was so much less expensive.

Portable Level 2 charger comes in handy carrying case
This charging cable can charge an electric vehicle with a J1772 charging port at up to 16 amps at 220 VAC. This equates to about 3.3 KWatts, which is what my Toyota RAV4 Prime ES can handle. It plugs into a standard NEMA 16-20 outlet (20 Amp, 220 VAC), I have not installed a 220 outlet yet, but thankfully this kit includes a short adapter that allows you to charge at 16 amps on 110 VAC. In this case you get about 1.7 Kilowatts, which is the same as the charging cable that came with my RAV4. In the testing I have done at 110 VAC I found that this charging performed as well or better than the gotta Toyota pro idea one. In Adirondacks it has the option to charge at 2, 4, 8 or 16 amps. ( in case you want to take it easy in your battery or home wiring ). It also has the ability to delay charging by 2, 4 or 8 hours. It has an array of RGB LEDs to indicate the status of charging. It also features a small LCD screen to give information about the temperature, charge rate, charge time, and total kilowatt hours delivered. The only thing I was not too pleased with is the LED displays a flowing green LEDs to indicate charging. When the car is fully charged and the charging stops it continues to show the flowing green display. Ideally it would be solid green when it was done charging so u could tell at a glance that it was finished.Overall I found it to be good value for the money and a well constructed piece of equipment. I will update the review when I am able to test it at 22p VAC.

Great portable charger!
I just bought a Plug in Hybrid vehicle, and the car came with a Level 1 120v charger. For my car, this takes about 10 hours to trickle charge my car to get my 34 miles of electric charge. I installed a 220v plug in my garage, and now with this Level 2 charger, I’m fully charged in about 2 hours! The charger also comes with a carrying case, which I used for my Level 1 charger to leave in the trunk.Overall, there’s not much to do with it. There is a button that allows you to change voltage, but it will default to the highest amperage possible, which is 16amps in this case. The cord is definitely long enough to reach my car, much longer than the cord that came with the vehicle. For the price and functionality, this really is a great product and very happy with it!

GREAT Home charger
This unit works so easy with the plug adapter. I didn't even have to replace the receptacle with the adapter it fit right into the welder plug I had in my garage. So easy to use. I would buy it again but doubt I will need to well constructed.
