Great to have Lord of the Rings in Magic and all of the cards are powerful and flavorful and awesome

I’m not going to pretend I understand every rule in Magic: The Gathering, but this Lord of the Rings set made it easy to jump in and share something my kid loves. As a mom, it can be hard to relate when your child is deep into fantasy cards and lore. But this set is beautiful, fun, and full of characters I actually recognize. My teen was so excited to build a deck for me and walk me through how to play. We laughed, we strategized, and I may have accidentally taken out Gandalf with a hobbit. Totally worth it. You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy it. Just a willingness to try and a kid patient enough to explain things for the tenth time. If you’re a parent looking for a creative way to bond with your awesome nerd, this is a great place to start. Plus, it’s a lot more fun than watching from the sidelines.

Really cool set. This is not a lot of cards though. I was hoping it would contain enough for a new deck but it only comes with 4 boost packs. This is not a starter set. Do not buy it if you are looking for a good LOTR deck. Its more for players who have LOTR cards and are looking to add to their collection or have new commanders to play with. While the price somewhat balances out with the number of boosters you get ultimately you are paying for the 6 unique holo cards and the beautiful artwork cards.

Packs were not resealed and it seemed legit. Good seller.

The bottom was already loose when it arrived and a simple pull is enough to take everything out (isn't normal if you asked me). The promo cards are still there but it's already bent (not sure if it's due to foil curving over time or something happened to the product before delivery) and the packs have some holes at the top (though no sign of it being opened). Way too sus for me to keep this.
