Keeping your child engaged
My son just turned 10. He is a very busy boy. So this really keeps him entertained. I had structure in my household for three days! If you have busy kids you’ll know this is massively an achievement. He was so focused!

Not as stable as I thought
More fiddly than I thought, bits kept falling of the bottom of ship as it was being built.

Not as good as the retired Destiny’s Bounty but can’t do anything about this…
It looks great, but value for money-wise, I’m not 100% convinced. The smalls had a good time building it however playability hasn’t been as good as previous kits however that may be just my brood. Since building it, it does break easily and have to be put together a lot which the eldest finds frustrating and having had a lot of Lego experience, she says this one isn’t as considered/designed as well as previous models. It doesn’t look as good as the previous Destiny’s Bounty obviously, but then smallest person doesn’t know this. Would I buy again? No. It didn’t keep them occupied for long enough.
