Great pencils

I am an artist, and these are great drawing pencils. They moving smoothly on my paper and with my kneaded eraser can easily suggest fur or tree branches.

I bought these at the same time as two other brands of "premium" graphite pencils. These have been my favorite, velvety texture to the graphite and so far no "hard spots." I'm a bit of a pencil and pen snob; these are as good as anything out there I've tried and better than most.

These graphite pencils are incredible . I sharpened them with 2-3 twist and they were extremely sharp. Moreover the wood and pigment core is really durable. B - 8B were easy to blend and produce many hues with such a small set. I recommend these pencils to beginners, intermediate and advance sketch artists.

Wonderful pencils. I love having a variety of graphite tools. The tin is a great way to keep up with them. Since I have a tendency to put items away willy-nilly, this reminds me to put the pencil back where it belongs. Wonderful quality!

It's been over a month and I have not been using my graphite pencils lately due to my art class focusing on charcoal and ink. That aside, a nice variety of pencils, great for making those light marks and darker shadings. I was also using another set of graphite pencils but they have gone too short that my pencil extender can no longer aid the graphite pencils. The only problem and reason for 4 stars is that when I was shedding the wood off my 5B pencil the interior of the led was cracked from top to bottom (I always keep art supplies in a perfectly stored area to prevent my charcoal pencils as well as graphite pencils from interior breakage.) I might have just gotten the short end of the stick because all the other pencils shaved off perfectly! Staedtler is always a reliable brand and the pencils come with a nice and sturdy casing to top it off.

This is really a perfect little product for anyone who likes to sketch. My daughter purchased it for her art journaling, and she is very pleased with the variety of the leads and the quality of the pencils, and the nice compact size of the tin. A first-rate art product all the way, for beginning or advanced artists.

A classic set of pencils, great variety of hardnesses, does everything I need.
