Puppy and Toy Breed Toothbrush, Dental Cleaning Accessory

I bought this after reading all the high reviews. I have a small breed dog and bought one that would be appropriate for her. She hates it because you really have to get the toothbrush deeper into her mouth to brush, given the angles of the bristles. The brush has dual bristles angled inward presumably to brush both the outside and inside of the dog's teeth.When I took my dog to the vet to have her teeth cleaned, the vet gave me instructions to brush her teeth. I learned that I only need to brush the outside of her teeth with the enzymatic toothpaste. The design of this toothbrush actually made it more difficult to brush her teeth. Talk to your vet or do a little research online first to see if this brush is really necessary for you.

Double sided helps clean both sides of my dog’s teeth.

This brush works very well........so much better than the one-sided brushes. It does take some time for your dog to get used to it, but it's extremely important to brush their teeth, for health reasons and saving money at the Vets to scale their teeth.

The product is made well but it just doesn't fit in my dog's mouth. She's 4lbs and has the teeniest jaw (deer-like chihuahua). When I try using the brush on her back molars, the plastic hits her teeth and I can't brush well. The reason I gave this a chance is because it's the smallest toothbrush on the market that I've been able to find and I read some other tiny dog owners liked it. If your dog is small, consider it's jaw size. I would recommend just using a kid's toothbrush which is what I was using before.

Bristles more soft than I like should be more still like attachment to handle one!

Perfect size for my dogs mouth, seems to be good quality too... Price was kind of high though

Hard to use

Fell apart after little use. My dog didn't like it either.

Good quality, perfect size for my mini Dachshunds. It does take some training getting the dogs used to brushing their teeth but please persist it's very important for them and this product should help make it easier.

Have used many types of dog toothbrush before; this design is the best to date. Used for a Greyhound and a Whippet.

Have been using this toothbrush for several years with good results and my border terrier does not complain!

Too stiff for my dogs teeth. Made her gums bleed.

Extremely difficult to use. Switched back to normal toothbrush with my dogs.
