Beautiful quality journaling/annotation Bible!
This is a GREAT Bible for writing notes and so-called "journaling"—strange term for just writing marginal notes on scriptures. Type font is big enough, though not really that large. Inside margins are good (some Bibles are too tight) and the lined outside margins are excellent for pencil marking (best is HB 0.9 or 0.7 lead). The single column text is much better than double column for making notes. Binding is excellent and quality, with good lay-open. Overall size is pretty big, but manageable for the purpose (notes take space and so does larger print...they have done well at combining both).

I am IN LOVE with this beautiful and proffesional catholic journaling bible!!!
I love the sleek hardback cover that is so simplistic and elegant. It has so much space for journaling or calligraphy. It also has so many useful footnotes for those who aren't well-versed in the Bible. I love the pages for singular quotes in the Bible that look so pretty! I paired this Bible with Diversebee soft gel high lighters. They are perfect and don't bleed on the other side of the page!

This Bible surprised me when it arrived and is one of the nicer Bibles I have ever had
First off, I didn’t know that there was such a thing as a journaling Bible. Growing up, I had seen my mom’s Bible where she had written the odd note here and there as well as underlined passages of scripture. I forget how I stumbled across a YouTuber talking about a journaling Bible. I don’t remember either how I got to his channel lol! But I am so happy that I did. I knew that a Bible my mom had gotten me for Christmas in 2013 was an ESV, so that is the translation that I wanted. I also wanted to be able to write in it and make notes of the sermons. This is why I decided on a journaling Bible and more specifically an ESV journaling Bible. I have 2 Bible apps on my iPhone which those are great in a pinch but, I am just one who likes to actually have a physical Bible. I want to know that I have something substantial in my hand so I started narrowing my choices down. It had to be an ESV and I wanted it to be a larger print than the one I had gotten from my mom. I think that one is a size 7 and my eyesight has been slowly getting worse in the last couple of years. I was considering a few different Bibles and I wanted something that was easier for me to read, to feel substantial when I was holding it and to lay as flat as it could without me having to manipulate it in all kinds of ways. This Bible wasn’t my first choice but, I am glad that I got it! The way that it feels in my hands is amazing! It has a nice balance to it and that was another important thing to me. Like I said, I just happened to stumble upon a video on YouTube. The video featured this Bible and my first choice in the same video. I thought that I wanted a leather bound Bible, until the reviewer talked about how soft the cover of this one is. It looked good in the video next to the Bible that was my first choice. I decided on this one because once I found out my #1 choice was an interleaved version that had no lines but, this one does. I don’t have the world’s neatest handwriting so I decided this was the Bible for me and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! I’m not a huge fan of the color red but this is a deep, rich red and absolutely beautiful. I haven’t found any flaws in the construction or materials of this Bible so I am thinking this will last a good long while. If you’re on the fence about whether or not you should take a chance on this Bible, you should just go for this one because it is perfect! I am so happy with my choice!

Sad I bought it
Got this nice Bible, wrote in it . Put favorite sticker verses. Decorated it. Then sat to study. Sad to say the writing is so small. I ordered large print. It said large print. If I had only tried to read before writing. I would send it back. I’m so sad I can’t read it well.

Almost perfect
This Bible is almost perfect for what I was looking for. I'll start with why "almost". It doesn't have gilded edges. That's it.I think I was looking for a unicorn on a budget. I wanted single column, not study or reference, journaling, leather or similar (not paperback or hardcover), large print, with no fluff, and gilded. This Bible had it all but the gilding.I use Zebra Midliner markers and PrismaColor 0.5 fine line pen to journal. I made my color fast page and attached so others could see front and back. I didn't expect complete bleed through and figure this isn't too bad. Also, it only has one ribbon but it is open enough that I'm going to add several more. How this helps others looking for unicorns

Great Bible! Love the illustrations! Thicker pages would be nice, but I do love it! Thanks!

Vale a pena
Precisamos.

In general it’s a nice Bible for first buyers
Just got the Bible today and so far I’m not really super impressed compared to the wide margin crossway Bible I already have. It says tru-tone cover which is supposed to be the same as the one I already have but it’s more of like a pleather like texture which isn’t as bendy which I’m already iffy about now that I’m used to the true tru-tone. Also the pages are a cream color which is nice but my old Bible had white pages which I actually prefer now that I’m comparing them. The wide margin also has 11.5 font and now I’m seeing the huge difference of 9.5 font in this Bible. I honestly wish they’d just take the exact large print wide margin they already have and just add more margin. These really aren’t huge things but with a journaling Bible it’s like you usually spend a lot of time in them (like multiple years) so these little things I’m already seeing will probably become an issue in the future. In general it’s a very nice first Bible if you have nothing to compare it to. I got it cuz I want more note taking space but I’d honestly recommend the crossway wide margin Bible and just tape in extra pages.
