Beautiful and great for note-taking!
Very sturdy with beautiful bible-verse inspired drawings inside! It is definitely a heavy book though, but there is plenty of room for notetaking. The pages aren't too thick or thin, and pens and highlighters don't bleed through.

The best Catholic Bible!
Do you know how hard itās been trying to find a Catholic journaling bible?? I was hoping to find a cutesy one like you see in TikTok and I found this one. I ordered it based on good reviews and it really is a beautiful bible. Itās great for journaling- with thicker pages than your typical bible thereās minimal bleeding through.l to the next page. It is quite heavy just for those who are infested in size and weight. It is large so I had to order a custom cover on Etsy to help protect it. I did stumble upon one page with messy ink but I think thatās as it so far.

Everyone needs this Bible!
This is my favorite Bible. I love the lines on the side to write on, and the commentary in this NAB is great. I recommend this Bible to all of my friends! Couldnāt say enough good things!!

Bible for Catholic women š
The media could not be loaded. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Although the text is pretty small I donāt mind it since it does include side margins for notetaking. I havenāt used any highlighters on it yet, so not sure how well it does with that. I added my own tabs to it as well (tedious but worth it lol)Iāve been following along with āThe Bible in a Yearā by Father Mike Schmitz podcast on Spotify to help with understanding the Bible more. Overall really great purchase!

A great Bible to take notes, cross-reference, etc.
After hunting around for a Catholic Bible with wide margins which has an approved translation, the options came up limited so I decided to give the Blessed Is She Bible a chance. My summary:So things I like:--The margins of course. I can finally take notes and cross-reference! The lines don't bother me in the slightest, and I think they're a good size and keep things neat.--The front and back pages have several pages of thicker cardstock-type paper, which I like because I use those pages to tape favorite prayers, pictures, etc.--I find the footnotes to be well-written and informative. Another reviewer mentioned that some of the things said in the footnotes was problematic... I'd love to know what they're referring to and I'm keeping my eyes out for any theology that might be off.--I love the single column of text. It makes the Bible so much easier to read!Con's:--I know the quoted artwork pages are meant to be beautiful and inspiring, but for me they're more of a distraction. The thicker font bleeds through the pages making the text pages a little more difficult to read. Also, I feel like it definitely feminizes the Bible (I know, it's a "Blessed Is She" Bible), but it leaves no option for men to feel comfortable with this as a study Bible, and there aren't other options out there. I just also feel like they're too computer-generated. If each had a beautiful watercolor wreath and hand lettering, it would be nice, but I feel like they're kind of a waste of pages. Purely my opinion.--It is a heavy Bible. I mean, that makes it nice and study too, but maybe one day come up with a paperback version for those who tote their Bibles around? I'd bring it to Bible study with me (of course!), but I'm not sure I'd bring it on trips.--It's true: the font size is small for this size Bible (around the size of my pocket 6x8" Bible, I'm guessing around 9 or 9.5 font type). The good news is the notes are in a slightly larger font. It's readable, but perhaps not in dim light. That being said, I realize they only could make the font so big if they wanted a Bible with these type of margins.--It would be nice if there were some sacramental pages (i.e., my little Bible has pages to record Baptism, First Holy Communion, Marriage, Important Events, etc.) Not a big deal since I just copied them from my little Bible and taped them in, but if this were 100% a keepsake Bible to pass on, I'd want those pages. A map or two would also be nice.Overall, a great Bible and I'm excited to use it. I added tabs (also from Amazon) and put it in this beautiful carrying case I found. (It has a little wiggle room, but I like that I can carry it around, leave it places in my house and my kids won't accidentally rip pages. Recommended over all!Tabs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/9900493303/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1Case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U03OPIK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Super nice Bible
Very nice Bible , I purchased three of them as Easter gifts for my daughters.... nice cover, pages are great my regular RSV Catholic Bible has thinner pages than this Bible and see through. This does not and the pages are a nice weight for turning without sticking together. margins are ruled I find no issue with this itās great for note taking (journaling)The fond is small but not as small as my pocket size RSV that is tiny compared to this Bible. I say itās standard font size matches a regular Bible. This is a Bible to read and take notes in and has great footnotes. A very good bible and itās pretty on top of that..I will by one for me in the future as I really like it.
