Bathing my dog used to be a nightmare. No matter what I did he always got water in his ear which always caused ear infections and expensive visits to the vet. The quality and design of the product is great, totally adapted for dogs. My dog has not gotten any ear infections since I started using this product. This is the second time I purchased it and will continue doing so.

After treating dogs more than once with itchy ear infections because of getting water in them when bathing, these did work to keep the ears dry. Tried it on our very rambunctious 7 month old 40 lb golden retriever puppy and it worked just fine. She didn't seem to mind it much at all. We always give her a lickimat (look it up....another good product) to occupy her while we bathe her and this did not interfere with her ability to lick it. It does cover the eyes. She initially did scratch at this cap to try and get it off but then ignored the fact that she had it on. She did put a tiny hole in it but I still think it can be used again. They are kinda thin plastic and a little expensive to just use once but I think can be used several times. Even if I have to buy additional caps occasionally, cheaper than a vet visit plus a prescription for ear infection medicine. I'm going to try them on my adult 70 lb golden retriever soon. I think it may be a tight fit.....it was reasonably tight on 7 month old puppy. Will come back and update this review after I try it on my bigger dog. EDIT: It is definitely very tight on my 75 lb golden retriever but still usable on her. If your dog has a bigger head than an adult golden, it probably will be too small.

I'm so glad I purchased these for my doggies -- it makes bath time so much easier and more enjoyable for them and for me.

OMG!!! I have been looking for some type of easy on/off cover to protect my dog's ears when giving her a bath, and somehow, I stumbled across these caps. You get 12 in a package for $12.00. It is the best money I have ever spent. I purchased a small and my dog weighs 14 lbs. They fit perfectly and she was not too happy at first, but they got used to wearing it. It only takes me 5-7 minutes to give her a bath and I know that her ears are not fully protected and this will prevent her from getting an ear infection. Also, this company's proceeds go to saving dogs from the meat markets in Asia (this I really appreciated). Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

We have a chihuahua mix that has always been prone to ear infections. The vet advised that we needed to keep the ears dry during bath time to avoid infection. Keeping his ears dry during bath time is a necessity and a challenge. We have tried other doggie shower caps, but they tend to slip off almost immediately. The design of this product is EXCELLENT in keeping his ears dry during bath time. Even when he shakes, this shower cap stays in place. When we remove the shower cap, his ears are nice and dry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT.

I bought these on a whim, figuring, maybe it would help when I'm bathing my pups. I have a 78 lb hound mix and 2 6 and 7 lb chorkies. My big boy was always getting ear infections and I was constantly having to put ear drops in his ears. My puppies had a skin infection and also had problems with their ears. All of the dogs did not like bathing and as hard as I tried not to get water in their ears, it always happened anyway. These are the best things invented. The dogs are more behaved in the bath, now that they don't get water in their ears and there have been no more infections!!! HIghly recommend.

The caps worked well. No water entered in the ears of my dogs. However, I think that the product is overpriced for the quality it offers. Each cap consists of a plastic bag material more on the thin side, which makes me feel it can get easily damaged. And finally, the elastic of the first cap I used got stretched after bathing my three dogs the same day. It would be great to improve materials and offer a better price.

I got the small ones for my sheltie to protect her ears from water getting in there when I brush her teeth with a Waterpik flosser. She is 20lbs, Small just about fits around her head, but her ears are flat underneath. Medium or large was not available when I needed this, so I went with Small and we are able to make do with these, but I would buy M or L for her as soon as it comes available to order from Canada. All the sizes seem to be available in the Etsy shop, but there I can't order with shipping to Canada, unfortunately. Still, a great product, 5 Stars from me.

We use for bath purposes, to keep the water out of her ears. It worked beautifully nice dry ears.Would definitely purchase again!!

The cap itself is made out from very thin polythene. You may end up ripping it while putting it on or taking it off from your puppy. It is expensive but does its job, keeping water out from my dogs ears.For this price I definitely believe the quality can be improved 10x.

This product works well if ur dog is a calm swimmer. If ur dogs is wild and dives in..well the ears get wet. If ur are in control of the situation..like giving ur dog a bath..this product is EXCELLENT and doing what it says it does. Also..I made a mistake in my order...and the seller quickly corrected it and the service given couldn’t have been more considerate and understanding. Will definitely order more when these run out:)
