Great burger presses!
One of the best purchases I’ve made in years!Absolutely love these things AND so glad to have both the square and circle.I’ve never been able to make a very good burger so I thought maybe I’d do better job of I went the smash burger route…Turn stovetop burner on high heat and place a dry, stainless steel or cast iron frying pan on and allow it to preheat. Next, form two meatball of ground beef, 2ounces each. Once the pan is very hot, drop one of the meatballs in and immediately use of these handy dandy burger presses to smash it flat. Give the burger press a little wiggle to smash the burger even flatter. (Don’t worry about the press getting too hot, the silicone covered handle keeps your hand cool.) Slide the burger press off (don’t lift it up or the burger might stick to the bottom) and season with salt and pepper. Follow the same routine for the second meatball. Once the top of the burger has changed color and is starting to look white-ish, grab a steel spatula and give those burgers a flip. Add more salt and pepper, THEN place the burger press on top (don’t apply any force, just let it sit on top of the burgers so they don’t cup. The burger press just keeps the entire surface of the patty against the pan. Cook for about a minute. Place a slice of cheese on one of the patties. Scrape the other burger up and place it on top of the cheese. The burgers are going to be stuck to the pan, so be sure to scrape all of the yummy browned pieces up - remove the little stack, place on a bun and enjoy! Super yum.To clean the burger press, just throw it into the dishwasher. Absolutely love these burger presses.

Good Press, except....
I chose this press for its one piece design so that there would be no openings for water to collect and create a problem of getting it completely dry after washing. Turns out, there is a very slight space where the handle attaches to the sides that allows water to get inside. Other than that it's a great burger press.

Heavy enough to do the job and cleans up much easier than cast iron presses.
I really love this burger press. It's easy to clean and heavy enough to keep my quarter to half pound burgers flat and well contacted to the grill or fry pan. The handle is covered in some kind of heat resistant substance like silicone so doesn't get to hot to handle. I appreciate that it's made of stainless steel so I can soak it clean or throw it in the dishwasher without worry. Overall a good product and a good buy.

great for smashburgers + tip
If you're in need of a burger press, this is a nice compromise between the cheaper ones available here and a heavy duty cast iron version. Makes great smashburgers! Here's a handy tip - use a piece of parchment paper between the burger and the press when smashing it down onto a hot griddle. Keeps them from sticking together!
