Took on holiday and was amazing keeping us out of the sun, just a little problematic if really windy

The shelter is a great product and with stood the windy day we had on the beach. Would recommend. 10/10

Light and easy to set up .Only issue is that it needs an extra rope to go around it with sand anchors and some some beach sand anchors for the poles . If not it will get blown away with high winds

This tent I bought is really good, I used it for the first time on the west wittering white beach for my family of 5 people, it was very windy and this tent withstood the wind a lot, easy to assemble, provides a lot of shade and is compact and light to transport .

One of the poles broke on the 3rd day of our holiday and didn't get a response from the seller when asked for support.

If you want shading in the garden, you'd typically get a gazebo, probably a popup one. What if you're wanting something supercompact and portable for say in the garden or on the beach? - Well this potentially could be your answer. It's much much more compact than a gazebo, but still offering similar area of shading.Seems too good to be true? - Well it is lower than a gazebo, and the poles are a lot thinner. Indeed the whole structure is a bit fiddly to put up and is dependent on being held down in the corners with weight. In this instance if on the beech, sand is your obvious choice.In terms of durability, it lasted a sunny day with little/no wind. However even with a small breeze, I felt this would be ok for occasional usage, but am not sure how long this would last if used regularly.At time of review it's £110, for which price you could buy a gazebo, and indeed the gazebo I bought for less than this seems much more stable... But nowhere near as compact. I guess you take your choices and in this case you should be willing to accept the compromise in sturdiness as well as the high cost...

Im sure this will be great the next time we head down to Wales although I'm slightly worried that the wind may be an issue as the fabric is super stretchy. It was too big to put up properly in our (rather shabby) garden, but it did stay up. I used my own pegs as the soil if full of stones and from past experience the plastic pegs supplied will not work. There were no holes in the canopy and all the stitching was spot on and the polls look decent quality too. I will be interested to see how it goes filling the pockets with sand and hopefully it will hold up to a bit of a breeze.Having a look at the fabric it does not look at all waterproof so if your looking for more than a sun shade I would look else where, but at its huge size it does created a decent amount of cover from the sun and at 6 foot tall I can easily walk underneath it without having to stoop.I will try and remember to update this review when we have taken it to the beach, but on initial impressions pretty decent!
