I use this as a laptop bag to carry my work computer to and from the office each day, along with files/papers and assorted other personal items. For that usage it works perfectly.Pros:--Size is perfect. Not too large, but big enough for work-related needs.--Full width is 5", but it naturally stays more compact if not fully loaded to keep a slim profile. Other bags I've had were more rigid at the base, meaning that the bag was fully extended even when I didn't have much in it. This bag keeps a narrow profile if it only has a computer or some files in it.--Shoulder strap is lined on one side with nylon fabric (leather on the visible side) so the leather tanning won't rub off on clothing.--Arrangement and number of pockets and compartments is perfect for work. Three pockets that can fit notebooks/binders. Various smaller pockets with zipper or magnetic closures. Everything is convenient and well thought-out.Cons:--The leather has more sheen than I expected, which for me is a con. I prefer a more matte finish. This is more of a glossy finish. The picture is fairly accurate given the light used in the photo, but in person I think it is a bit more shiny than it appears in the image in every-day situations. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider if you really do want something more matte.--The handles do not drape loosely against the sides of the bag when you use the shoulder strap. They are sewn in to the bag sides directed upwards, so when you "fold" them down they don't hang flush and instead try to stick out. Your body holds the inside one down well enough, but the handle facing the outside will stick out about 30 degrees. Perhaps with more usage it will break in and hang more naturally and flush against the side. Again, not a deal breaker, but it can be a bit of a pain on a crowded subway because it's easy for it to get caught on things (or for others pushing by to catch themselves on it).

I like this bag a lot. Soft leather, no strong odor when new, and seems to be well-constructed. Lots of pockets, similar construction to a Tumi I had prior. Actually looks really nice and stylish, I've had a lot of compliments. I carry two 15" samsung series 9 laptops, plus a lot of paperwork and random other things (external hard drives, chargers, etc), and it still has room.Only a couple little things that prevent the 5-star rating. First, the zippers aren't YKK or any other high quality brand, so they can get a little finicky at times; haven't had one break yet, but we'll see. Second, the front flap is held down by magnetized buttons, which is a nice touch, and makes it a lot more convenient than a front flap with buckles or something similar. However, when you pick the bag up by the handles, the magnet-buttons aren't strong enough to hold the flap down, so the front pocket opens up. If you only use the shoulder strap this isn't an issue. So that can get pretty annoying. I'm thinking of crafting my own extra-magnet solution, so we'll see how that goes.

I love this bag. When I first received it, one of the clasps holding the strap on was very loose causing the strap to detach easily. I contacted customer service and they shipped me a new one very quickly that had no issues. It can hold quite a bit of stuff. I usually keep a 1 in. binder and textbook in the middle compartment and random folders and papers in the other areas. It could definitely hold more though. There is no padding in the strap, but it doesn't bother me. The handle design with 2 buttons works great and looks stylish. If I forget to zip one of the pockets closed by accident, the handles prevent anything from coming out. The color is very close to what is advertised in the pictures and the leather feels soft and smooth. I have received lots of compliments and people asking me where I got it from.

The bag itself is great, but there is only one thing I really hate about it. The leather is leaving marks on my clothes, and the stains it leaves won't come out of my clothes. I tried to seal the leather but it didn't work. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, or if I just got a bad bag and something happened during the manufacturing process that didn't seal the leather. Regardless, it's unbelievably annoying and I want to return or exchange the bad but it's past the 30 day time to do so. If anyone know how to fix this please let me know.

Within the first couple months I would rate this a 5 star bag. However, over the past month or so I have noticed one of the ends of the should strap ripping out. A week ago the strap stitching ripped out (which breaks the seal of the zipper) and it was held on by the rivet. Earlier today the rivet finally gave in and the strap came completely off. I've only had the bag about a year and I don't think that is long enough for the price I paid. I'm a law student so my bag might be a bit more full than others but not by much. I don't carry any of my books in there, but I do carry my laptop, charger, headphones, notebook, papers, files, pens, random cords, and maybe some snacks. Definitely not a weight that this bag shouldn't handle. Thankfully the semester is ending but unfortunately I'll have to get a new bag.I don't recommend this product unless the seller Bluebird contacts me to fix this problem.

This is a great bag for the price. The ONLY downside is the magnetic clasps on the front pocket. They kept coming unclasped when I carried it. I ended up using super glue to clasp them down permanently!! But, the bag holds so many hidden pockets that I did not miss the front pocket at all. Good leather, vintage and classy looking, and great for business or travel.

It is a nice leather bag but doesn't have laptop bag padding as expected. I bought a "case logic" 15" lap top sleeve and put it into the bag for added protection for my MacBook Pro 15". Nice fit and feel of the leather. Looks very professional. Has all the right pockets for accessories. NOTE...Doesn't have any way to secure it on my luggage during travels.
