Aerosmith's Greatest Hits

Wow. I should have read the reviews, but who would have thought that the songs on this CD are BUTCHERED. Sweet Emotion ain't sweet. Kings and Queens ain't royal.This CD, is royal. A royal flush. At least it was less than 4 bucks.

I should have taken the reviews seriously. This CD is 37:35 long and Columbia felt the need to chop off the intro to Sweet Emotion (among many other edits throughout). I don't get it..

I bought two of these, one for a gift and one for myself. I'm now embarrassed to have sent this to someone. The sound is so low quality, and out of balance that it's like a burned cd. I typically listen to music at number ten in my car. I had to put this on 25 and it still wasn't loud. There are actual instrument sounds missing in the songs. I'm actually wondering if the cd I got is burned.

While some people have complained that some of these songs are truncated, if you are looking for an introduction to Aerosmith this is a good place to start. The big hits are here and despite not being the perfect piece of recorded history, it's a great (and cheap) place to start. For people just looking to explore Aerosmith this is a good place to begin; for dedicated fans, it's probably safe to steer clear.

I bought this on cassette in 1986 (at the mall on my way to see “Crocodile Dundee” at the theater). Still one of my fonder childhood memories - and a fine album with all of the classic Aerosmith Hits.

Although it has a paper inner sleeve, this vinyl is clean and sounds great. I can give five stars.

Great songs but I cannot believe they chopped the songs to pieces. Seriously, they've shortened the original songs I couldn't believe that someone would do that. Why?

I mean who doesn't Love aerosmith and to now hear some of their best songs on record makes them sound even better. It sounds clear and runs smooth as butter.

Absolute classic early Aerosmith ,sounds great on remastered heavyweight vinyl .
