The mistake that all of these other reviews are making is that they think this is just for beginners because it prevents them from over swinging. In reality, the ‘secret’ of this device is being able to hold on to that 90 degree angle on the downswing until your Club passes your waist. It gets rid of casting and the over the top swing. Saw this and thought this would be a good one to try out to help me keep my arms in my backswing at the right angle. Works well help with back and down swing

I have a tendency to overbend my trail arm in the back swing and this helps me to get the feel of when to stop going back and start the downswing. It's easy to use and effective.

My husband thought he'd get a lot of use out of this but he rarely uses it. Instead he later bought a projector golf simulator thing which he finds much more useful/helpful and fun. TBO, I'm not a golfer and the long description he gave me of what this is supposed to do just didn't click, so I can't describe it. Instead, I'm giving you the outside perspective of seeing what he actually uses and it's not this.

As a golfer, I'm fascinated with golf training aids. I have this curiosity to see what people come up with in order to teach others how to execute a swing. Every time I see a product like this, I tend to get it just to see if it can be beneficial for beginners and pros alike. It works well enough, and I do understand the idea behind this product; however, it's not as comfortable as I would've hoped. I wish the bottom part that is in contact with your arms was softer. That's not the case here; you can feel the hard plastic. It's the only dislike I have thus far. All in all, I recommend this if you're just starting with golf, but don't expect it to be as comfortable.

Learning how to golf? This little wedge is a neat idea. Basically you place it on your back/trail arm and it helps remind you about your arm position. It minimizes the amount of bend you place in your trail arm while swinging back. Look, it's not going to solve your swing mechanism immediately, but rather it allows you to understand the swing mechanics and hopefully muscle memory in order to develop a great swing!The wedge is hard plastic so as to create a perfect block. The strap is stretchy and adjustable for any arm size. Overall, it's helping me understand more about what my swing not only looks like but feels like - something that will help with my swing mechanics down the road.

I got this item to see if it would have some impact on my swing, I wanted to try it out a few times before writing a review. It is winter here in Canada and the only opportunities I have had to use it have been at the indoor inflatable soccer court where a lot of us go to hit a few balls during certain specific times that golfer are allowed. AT first, I found it to be a little hard to get used to, but then I started to find it was making me hit the ball more consistently. I am not a scratch golfer and just enjoy playing golf during the summer. It is deceiving because it is very simple, but I can say that, so far, it has helped me with my consistency. I am looking forward to being able to use it in the summer. Would I be able to play a full game with it? I am not sure. I will have to update this review in the summer.

Pros--light in weight-simple to attach to your arm-lots of adjustment room on the strap-definitely keeps your arm from overextending-simple device, nothing to break-easy on the walletCons--you should have some concept of how your swing works before you use it-it tends to shift on my wife's arm after a few swings-you need to practice your swing a fair bit to build muscle memory-you could be affecting other parts of your swing - work with a golf coach to 'nail' itConclusion- worth the price.

I've tried this and it seems to do what it says, it recalibrates your swing from going too high.One of my boys, who is just starting out golfing has been using it and he has found it useful.It takes some steady practice with this for it to work but after a few driving sessions, it has helped.You need to put the time into using it.The one thing I do not like about the product is that when you swing it rubs against your arm.After about 25 swings there was a fair bit of chaffing so it is very helpful to to wear a long sleeve shirt with this, at least for me.I would change the strap to something a bit more skin friendly, more silky.Other than that, this product works well.Was this review helpful?
