My biggest fear is being stuck in traffic on a highway while needing to pee. I had a situation once that traumatized me. After a lot of research, I ordered the Travel Jane (purple version) and I just discovered it works great! I sacrificed one for experimental purposes. I rarely leave reviews and I hope this helps anyone with the same concerns I had. My car was parked in the garage and no one was around so I put the seat all the way back. I sat on the edge of the seat with this device pressed up close. Make sure to have some napkins handy! But there was no leakage and after ziplocking it closed, I put it in a plastic WalMart bag and disposed of it. For safety sake, you might want to keep these in your car with a towel to sit on (just in case of dribbles); a towel to cover you for privacy; toilet tissue or napkins; extra plastic grocery bags and the hand wipes. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked that it’s an all in one product- no need to have an empty bottle handy.

We love these for long rides with the family. They help in tough situations such as traffic jams and gotta go emergencies.

Easy to use and they also come with tissues and wipes. We travel a lot in remote areas so these are very helpful, and even better on our trip in alaska, highly recommend

I recently went camping, and the weather was rainy one night and quite cold another night. I was glad that I had purchased these. I found that they work best if I kneel up, my tent is not tall enough for me to stand upright, and bending over to use one of these seemed awkward. The first night, I took an old hand towel into the tent with me when I went to bed, and when I woke up in the night and needed to pee, I folded the towel and put it on the tent floor underneath me in case of leakage. it wasn’t necessary, this little unit worked beautifully. I will say, before you actually use one of these, have some toilet paper all ready, because you will want to wipe instantly as soon as you move the unit away from your body. I suggest lowering the urinal, but keeping it underneath you until you have wiped! I just poked the toilet paper down into the unit and sealed it up. I used the moist towelette to wipe my fingers. I will say that it wouldn’t hurt if the plastic opening was a quarter or half an inch wider, as getting it positioned securely requires care. That is my only small complaint, and is the reason for four stars instead of five. I am not a large person, and I can see how some folks might have a hard time making sure that the bag was properly positioned to catch all the liquid. The bag is heavy duty, and I didn’t feel at all as if it were going to burst. It holds quite a bit and although the instructions say that it may be used multiple times, that wasn’t necessary for me, so I can’t speak to that. However, the bag sealed tightly, and there was no leakage after it was used. I plan to do more camping this summer and also in the future, so I have just ordered another box of these. I’m usually not a fan of single use disposable items, and I did not utilize these every night, but when I did need them, they worked absolutely perfectly.

We bought these for a road trip and I'm so excited to use them! They have a great design for bathroom use when you don't have a bathroom, the size is easy to store when you're hiking, and it seals any smells or product in the easy to use design.

Especially if Im going out and may have to use a public restroom. With these I don t have to touch anything in there and if there is no public restroom you can conveniently use them in your car. They turn the urine to gel and are resealable so no worries about spilling. Great for kids especially little girls on the move. Eliminate bathroom "I gotta pee" worries.

OK, I haven’t actually used these yet but got them for our trip in a couple days. I bought both the Travel Jane and the Travel John because it was hard to see in the photo that they are exactly the same product, except for the one fact that the Travel Jane is cheaper and the area you stick up in your crotch doesn’t go down into the ziploc bag, rather the ziploc seal is below that, so that is kind of gross. Who wants to touch that after it’s been up in somebody’s private parts. The travel John on the other hand is double bagged, so the crotch area is all sealed up within 2 bags which is better for leakage, too. I like that you don’t have to touch any dirty parts. So of the two of them, I would recommend the Travel John. Both the potty openings are exactly the same size as well; they looked a bit different in the photos. I will come back after the trip and tell you if we used them or not.

I bought these for camping. No more going outside of my tent in the middle of the night braving the bears to find the outhouse in the dark. No spills, no smell.

Great if you're in a pinch and need to pee. Easy to use. Liquid turns into gel substance and can bag has a ziploc closure for no spills. Can use multiple times until bag is full. We take these camping and keep one in the car for those emergencies during traffic jams.

J'ai essayé d'autres marques et TravelJane Fonctionne très bien. Son ouverture rigide aide à la tenue. Le gel retient bien l'urine contrairement à d'autres où l'urine reste liquide. c'est pratique de pouvoir refermer le sac et réutiliser jusqu'à ce qu'il soit rempli. On devrait l'offrir dans un format avec plus d'urinoirs jetables pour faire des économies.
