A dark coffee, not bitter, no after taste

For the amount you pay, they weren't bad. I figured these would be low quality for that price.

Good Kona coffee! Smooth and great flavor, good morning blend

I searched Amazon for a while trying to find a good coffee at a reasonable price (not 7 oz of Kona for $30). I finally found it in Kanaloa Blend. It is robust, but without the acidic aftertaste of some coffees. Trying to find decent coffee at my local supermarkets is just a losing proposition, so I will continue to order mine from Amazon.

Positives:This coffee gives the best flavor if you buy the whole bean, and grind it as you need.The flavor is rich, but smooth tasting. From my perspective, rather than using the standard brewing temperature of 200 degrees, the flavor is better if you use 190 degree water, and brew in a French press for 4 minutes.I don't recommend buying this same coffee already ground. The flavor is not as good.

I like this blend very much. Someday I will get to where I can order the pure Hawaiin coffee. This makes a nice introduction tho.

While I liked the coffee, I expected it to be a lighter roast coffee. It is immediately apparent as soon as you see the color of the coffee. It was my mistake because I actually thought I ordered another kind of coffee. I decided to keep it because of the taste and the fact it was a good value.
