Simple and cost-effective. They're also very flat and therefore don't get in the way of anything when installed. However, I had to file the spade lugs wider to fit onto my binding posts. Also, the process of widening the span (set at 50mm by default) is quite nerve-wracking as the points where the metal stretches (either side of the half-moon shape in the middle) are very thin. I didn't compare them to anything else, and maybe if you spend £100 on some top-class cable jumpers you'll get better sound, but for £20 you can't really go wrong.

However, I just use a short length of my own speaker wire - it works just as well.
