An effective way to fit an extension tube for my air-con. A little fiddly to fit, it basically screws on. Top tip: rub the threads with a candle. It makes it much easier to screw the parts together.

This item although cheaper than others was perfect for what it was intended for. It was made of good thick quality material and joined the two pieces of tubing together of the same diameter with ease, even though one tube had a larger distance between the wired coil. Once both pieces were firmly together there was no seepage of air from them and did not effect the performance of my Air conditioner, I guess if you wished to you could tape them together but I didn't see the need plus it made it easier to disassemble when storing. Once I had assembled the whole unit any excess tubing I collapsed on either side to make the tube too the shortest length possible to maximise the device's performance. My tubing is clockwise but it appears to be designed for anticlockwise tubing aswell, personally I cannot recommend this item enough and saved me from purchasing a longer exhaust tube.

Product is fine other than it looks as though the opposite thread is a LH thread which isn’t very useful. I’ve re read the description and it doesn’t state that it is. One side connects absolutely fine. I can get it connected on the opposite end with a bit of manipulation but not great. Not sure if they possibly picked the wrong one from stock? Probably should have returned it but it’s fitted now so will make do.
