WASTE OF TIME
a good straightfoward little pedometer that does more or less what it says on the tin, measures steps & distance presumably quite accurately, also calories used - not sure about the accuracy or relevance of this. Only problem after first use was it started counting the steps at the start of the walk, when i checked about halfway round it had stopped counting for some reason after about a tenthof a mile. i reset it which seemed to sort it out for the second half so fingers crossed.Update on my 1st review - Now used it quite a few times - or tried to - rarely works for all the time walking, often not all - total waste of money

Just make sure you clip it on the correct place so that it registers your steps!!!!
Just a note to anyone who purchases this pedometer - once set up, you must wear it clipped to your waistband so that it lies firmly against your hip bone when you walk. This way it will register the steps and work correctly. At first, I made the mistake of placing it too far away from the hip, nearer the waist and it registered no readings at all, so I thought it was not fit for purpose and almost returned it. Manufacturers please note, the instructions were very scant and did not mention this, which is why I only gave it 4 stars! In all other respects, it's a good piece of equipment and very easy to read and set up. Seems pretty accurate too.

Pingko Pedometer
Bought this as it's just a basic pedometer without any internet apps needed and it does the job okay but it only works adequately being attached via a spring clip to your waist anywhere else doesn't work -the onboard button batteries should last you approx 18 months

Great value for money pedometer you attach to your hip.
This is a very good value pedometer that does exactly what I wanted it to do - count steps without me needing to share my data online. It is so straightforward I didn’t even need to read the instructions before setting it up; the buttons tell you what they do. The only bit of information you will need to finish the set-up that you might not know already is your stride length, but that is easy to work out with a bit of space and a measuring tape. The only other notable comment I could make to a new user is that the pedometer must be worn clipped to your hip to work. If you locate it anywhere else on your body it will not give you accurate results. As well as steps the pedometer also provides you with an estimate of distance travelled and KCal burned. Its default display is the time, but it cannot be used to measure how long you have been walking for - it just tells the time.Very happy with my purchase.Hope that is of use.

Stopped!
I don't know if it was me or not, but the pedometer only registered a few steps then stopped. As the number of steps registered varies, I can only assume that it registered the first tract of steps then stopped.I reset it numerous times, but still the same results. One thing in its favour however is it allows as much time as you need to set the various things, unlike those than only allow ten seconds.Scrapping it and attempting another make.Tom Crossly

BRILLIANT piece of kit
This is a BRILLIANT piece of kit. Super value and easy to use. I am wearing it to help me monitor my recovery after a recent operation and to make sure I am active. It is perfect. THANK YOU.

Fiddly and unreliable....
I bought this to track my distance in terms of steps and mainly kilometres and miles. I found it awkward.to use the settings. The instructions were poor and it was not obvious to set the clock or your stride length and I found the buttons small and flimsy and impractical to use. You have to put in your average stride length for the pedometer to work out how far you have walked. I did not find it easy to do or to amend. The pedometer clips on the waist and I found it fell off while walking. Then I had difficulty setting the device back to zero. I do not rate this at all.
