Affordable and Great E-Bike
I love my bike!!!! So far, I have not experienced any issues. High quality and very well-made- I can tell that it’s very sturdy. It took about 2 hours to assemble-not too hard. It is beautiful and very fun to ride. There are adjustments to riding an e-bike, but it’s fun to learn!! Compared to many bikes, this one fit my budget, and although it’s not the highest motor capability, it’s enough power for me, as I am not a professional bike rider, just ride for fun in my neighborhood!

Great bike and great product support!
My wife and I are a bit older (60) and just moved to a new area where there are many, sometimes pretty hilly, hiking/biking trails. She has a somewhat difficult time keeping up with me, so we're always limited as to how far we can travel on our bikes. I decided that buying her an e-bike would be a great way for her to do more / go further, so I started shopping. Initially, I was looking at products from a local bike store (Trek), but their e-bikes are soooo expensive. Decided to check out Amazon, and, as usual, was amazed at what was offered for far less. I do understand that sometimes you get what you pay for, but I wasn't ready to lay out a few thousand dollars for something that was really an experiment. I was wanting to stay below $500, and this bike, with shipping, was right around there. The expected delivery was June 18-20, and it arrived on the 17th. First off, 60 lbs is heavier than you might think it is, especially when it's in the form of a large box. The bike was well-packaged - lots of tie-wraps, so have your cutters handy - and a little difficult to get unwrapped/unpackaged, but no big deal. They say the bike comes 90% complete - I might argue that point, but, honestly, I don't see how they could have put it together any more than that and still fit it in a box the size they did, so, again, no real problem. For some reason, I had in my mind it would only take a half hour to put together - maybe that was my fault - but, either way, it took, probably, two hours - and, admittedly, I put things together very slowly, so maybe someone else could do it in an hour.In the instruction booklet, there was a link to a video - I decided to go that route, but I recommend against that, because the bike in the video was a little different, and I had to go back and re-do one part. Again, not a big deal - but, after that, I stuck to the instruction book. It can be a tad hard to follow in some places because of the wording they use, and the not-so-great English, but it's not horrible. There were two things on my bike that were "messed-up": 1) the plastic chain guard was bent, and was forcing the chain to come off the sprocket when you pedaled, and 2) the battery would not snap into place fully, no matter how hard I pushed down. The plastic chain guard isn't a big deal - I still haven't fixed it, but I also haven't spent any time messing with it yet. I believe there's a video on youtube showing how to fix/adjust it, so I'm not worried about that.I sent an email to [email protected], along with a short video, asking for assistance. I was a bit concerned/annoyed when they immediately responded with "We are currently experiencing a high volume of orders and emails, which may result in a delay in our response time", but later that same evening, they sent another response that included a link to a video showing how to correct the issue I was having with my bike. It was a very simple fix, and probably took less than two minutes. After that, I searched in youtube some, and discovered numerous other videos for Actbest bikes. The front brake was rubbing a good bit, and I found a video showing how to adjust that! Now, on to the quality/performance of the bike... so far, we're very happy with the bike. Every part on it appears to be fairly high quality. I've never spent thousands of dollars on a bike before, so I'm not comparing this one to those, but in general, it seems/feels well-built and solid. The biggest thing is getting used to the power assist (PA) - it's just weird when all you've ever ridden is a regular person-powered bicycle. But, when you've been on a long bike ride, you're tired, and the last stretch of your ride is a steep hill, that power assist is awesome. So far, for $500, we're very happy with our purchase - can highly recommend!

Fun to ride and amazing value for the price when comparing to so many other ebikes.
Was packed very well and arrived undamaged which for such at heavy product (around 59 pounds) was impressive. Patience required for unpacking and assembly, but not too difficult. This ebike looks very nice and has several extra frills, front and rear lights (rear light also has brake lights), rear rack and nice metal fenders. The quality is solid, but heavy as mentioned. On the first ride which is fun there was a little extra noise coming from both front and rear disc brakes, which required some adjustment (see actbest youtube videos for adjustment tips) and after several more rides the slight pad resistance on the disc slowly disappeared as the brakes were used more and the pads settled in place. Finally, yes it is very fun to ride, perfect for commuting. I haven't ridden it enough to comment on the battery range but I rode it for an hour testing all of its features and there was no diminishment of the battery bars on the screen so far. So far, it is well worth the price.

Low quality build and generally awful experience with the customer service.
I had previously bought a more expensive model from this company and had some issues with it, but not many due to the bike being stolen 6 months into owning it. I ordered this model last August and am running down to my last month on warranty, and this time around it has been a nightmare.Starting from the beginning; there were issues with the initial delivery. When I received this bicycle and tried to assemble it, the front tyre was entirely flattened during transit. Additionally, the back fender was dented to the point that it pressed against the rear wheel and did not allow it to move. This made the bicycle unusable until I had a new tyre. I opted to go through customer service to receive a new tube. I emailed them on 8 August, and to their credit, they responded by 11 August and replaced the tube by 13 August. It took much longer for them to send the fender (about a month), as it was out of stock. At this point, rather than waiting, I had the rear fender removed and just used the bicycle.Within a month or two, the front tyre went out. This happened with the previous model I bought from the company as well. The front tyre was easy enough for me for me to change, and so I just did it on my own and replace the tube and the tyre itself to higher quality options. The bike shop that I took my previous model to after its first flat tyre informed me that the tyre that the bicycle had come with were cheap quality, and the same seemed true of this one.Sure enough, the real problems came in late December. On 23 December, I had a flat tyre -- this time on the rear wheel. This was beyond my capability to manage on my own (my experience with bicycles is not at all like this one), and I needed instructions to figure out what tools I needed and how to approach changing it. I reached out out immediately to their customer service to ask for a tutorial. Especially because I work through the holiday seasons and commute, I was hoping that someone could assist me, or at the least send out an automated email letting me know that customer service was down for the holidays. But no response at all. After radio silence, I reached out again on 30 December. Again, nothing.I reached out on 2 Jan again, seeing as the holidays were over.I finally received a reply on 19 January. Their first response back to me, they did not understand the issue at all and thought I was asking for an initial installation/assembly video. I responded to reiterate the issue. Finally, they sent me videos on how to remove and reinstall the rear wheel on 23 January... one whole month after I initially requested customer service. I could not afford to have the bicycle fixed by another shop in that time frame, and I ended up stretching my money and my schedule around public transit and rideshares.I let this slide. An aside from the customer service: other than the cheap quality wheels and fenders (both of which received some damage in shipping, but only that rear fender was dented enough to actually impact the bicycle's movement), the bicycle has some issues with what seems to be the front suspension -- I noticed that when I climbed on the bicycle (for example, after pausing in transit), I would noticeably shift slightly downwards when I put my weight on the seat and began riding again. This felt unusual to me, but I never got around to fixing this issue. The seat is also pretty uncomfortable. Compared to the previous model that I bought, this bicycle feels considerably harder to ride without the pedal assist. I always feel like I'm meeting some sort of slight resistance, and so I end up using level 1-2 of the pedal assist most of the time. This definitely drained more battery life than the previous model did.The worst issue of all was the kickstand... it couldn't withstand the weight of the bicycle, apparently, and eventually one of the bolts loosened/bent and fell off. I was about to replace it with a stronger kickstand until the most recent issue.I once again had to replace the rear tyre. I followed the instructions on the video as precisely as possible and had everything in place. But upon going out to ride, I noticed some resistance in my tyre and stopped to check it. I found that the wires near the back tyre had began turning with/into the tyre, causing the wires to be ground up and cut through by the components nearby. I was forced to adjust my bicycle on the road in the nighttime, but found that the power to the headlight and to the pedal assist was killed, and I cannot repair this on my own. Seeing as I repaired it by following using their removal and installation video, I reached out on 7 July to the customer service email about the warranty.Firstly, the customer service responded that I should:"1. Please contact our customer service team directly with your order number and details of the issue. They will guide you through the warranty claim process.2. You may be required to provide photos or a video of the damage to assist in assessing the situation.3. Our team will evaluate the damage and discuss repair options or replacement parts as covered under the warranty."They did not tell me how I should "directly" reach out to the customer service team... especially when I reached out to the email listed for customer service, and when I checked their website, the website listed the email I had contacted as the correct customer service email!I sent an email through the form on their website, and to cover my bases, I followed up my original email with photos attached of the damage. Just today, their response was:"Hi,I'm sorry to see this happen.Damage from accidental use is not covered by our warranty. The area you broke was the motor cable and you can only replace the entire rear wheelset. I've checked for you and we are currently out of stock of the rear wheel set, I will provide you with a link to purchase it when it is restocked."Not only am I not covered by the warranty, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to replace the motor cable, from the way this email is worded. This kills the entire purpose of using my ebike.Overall, my experience with ACTbest has been less than impressive. Previously, I recommended my friends this bicycle based on the initial price compared to other electric bicycles out there. Unfortunately, working with this model has made me realise that it is way too intensive of a DIY project rather than a working, quality product. I would much rather buy a more expensive bicycle from a company with good customer service and quality builds, and after this final exchange with ACTbest customer service, I've decided to do just that -- and to encourage my friends to do so as well. I will also be editing my previous review on the other model I bought previously (which I rated positively after only a month or two of use).1 star based on an extremely stressful experience and the honestly limited amount of time I was able to spend on this bicycle compared to the amount of time I was spent on fixes and workarounds to actually make it work for me.

Awesome e-bike
Package was delivered earlier than expected. Instructions for assembly were simple, and easy to follow. I was able to put the bike to gather, fast, and used all tools that were supplied for assembly. Bike rides smooth, is sturdy and has power. I live in city and was able to go up hills with out issue or draining the battery.
