Pricey but worth it!!!
My daughter had bariatric surgery recently and can't eat sugar but she wanted a chocolate dessert for a party we had for her. I found this and despite the price I went for it. The cake doesnt NOT bake.up very high but its very good. I used the Greek yogurt option. I made this cake, sugar free brownies sugar free milk and dark chocolate pudding and sugar free cool whip to make a trifle. It was SO good!

Really good for the macros
I made cupcakes with the oil free recipe and they were really good. I was impressed with how low in calories they were and they have a decent amount of protein. They were slightly dry, but the taste and texture were still great. If you wanted them more moist, the oil recipe would probably work. They’re also very easy to make and significantly cheaper than similar macro friendly pre-made desserts that you can purchase online.

Amazing cake for bariatric patients
Bought this cake mix for my mom's Mother's day cake. She just had bariatric surgery a month ago so she's unable to eat regular cake for a long time. She hates diet-y tasting food and artificial sweeteners, and yet she loved it. Definitely the best tasting sugar free cake mix out there.I followed the Greek yogurt variation of the recipe because it was the lowest fat option. I also added in a tablespoon of Lily's dark chocolate chips. I put it into an 8×8 square pan and put it in for 27 minutes. When I went to remove it, the middle was completely liquid. I rechecked the directions and of course I missed the part where there was 2 different versions of baking instructions. I put it in at 325°, but that was supposed to only be for dark coated pans. So I turned the temperature up to 350° and put it back in for another 10 minutes. The inside was now perfect, but the outside edges were dry. So I heated some skim milk and added some sugar free dark chocolate drink mix, then using a fork poked holes into the cake and brushed the hot cocoa over top to add some moisture back. It fortunately saved the day and brought the cake back to life. I just thought I'd share in case anyone else makes the same mistake and wants to know how to fix it.I didn't buy the fit bake frosting because it had too much fat in it for what my mom is allowed after her surgery. Instead I took half a container of sugar free cool whip, 2 tbsp PB2 powder, 1 tbsp low sodium peanut butter, and 1 tbsp of lakanto monk fruit sweetener, and whisked it together and spread it on top.It turned out great, and I would definitely buy this again. Yes $12 is pricey, but when you're not allowed regular cake or maltitol sweetener then this is the best tasting option. While I could make it from scratch, I just don't find buying things like coconut flour and almond flour worth it when I wouldn't use them often enough. For the couple occasions a year that my family eats cake this works perfectly.

A miss for me
Never turned into cake. Stayed a corn meal tasting, sand consistency. Bad smell.

A bit pricey but taste ok
The cake was fine and tasted ok, but there’s so little mix in this for the price. As well, the nutrition facts are broken down in a strange way so I had to do some math to figure out the calories per slice (as their suggested amount of slices is hard to achieve in real life).

Great Dieting and Gluten Free Cake (just don’t use their frosting!)
I purchased this cake for my spouse’s birthday. I am gluten free and we are both dieting. When I saw the macros and that it was gluten free, I needed to try it.I used the standard moist cake directions. It’s just like any other cake mix and was simple. Gluten free baking is different, so just make sure not to over bake, which is easy with GF products. This cake was moist, tasted great, and was easy to portion. It tastes like a standard gluten free cake. So if you don’t eat gluten free, it may taste different because of the different flours (i.e. coconut flour).I do not recommend the frosting. I bought it and tried it before putting it on the cake and I am glad I did. It tasted horrible and the calories were no better than traditional frosting. If you aren’t keto, save your tastebuds and use a protein, homemade, or traditionally store bought frosting. With traditional frosting, it was a great tasting cake. Those who complain about the cost, this is pretty on par with a lot of gluten free cakes, except you will be happy that you can spare your extra calories on a scoop of ice cream.

Good but expensive
Delicious.. tastes like a mix between vanilla cake and corn bread … sweet but not too sweet. I still think it’s way too expensive and probably won’t buy it again for that reason.
