Priced right and pocket friendly, opens packages easily
The media could not be loaded. I like the size and the fold ability. It was not spring loaded or easy to open and close, which could be by design. I would hate to have it open in my pocket. I still found it a little tight to open. The design is great and it’s sturdy enough to take some keychain bashing. Replaceable blades ensure it’s always sharp. The blades are so cheap. I bought three and I’m giving two as stocking stuffers for Christmas. My brother works for a pharmacy and this should come in handy.

It slices through your expectations!
The Folding Scalpel Knife is an absolute steal for what you get. This isn't just a knife; it's a precision tool that feels like it's worth twice the price. The build quality screams durability, and the sharpness? Let's just say it could probably slice through expectations. Whether you're in the field, the workshop, or just need something razor-sharp in your EDC, this scalpel knife delivers. It's not just good value; it's outstanding value wrapped in a solid piece of gear that you'll wonder how you managed without. A must-have for anyone who appreciates quality without the hefty price tag.

Compact & Handy
The product quality is satisfactory, all the edges are chamfered, and with tiny imperfections. The size of the device is ideal fits in my palm, yet lightweight that I hardly noticed it in my pants pocket. The feel of the cutter is good, once you get past the idea of it being a scalpel and become acclimated to using it on a daily basis. I have yet to develop the dexterity when changing the blade. The blade is held in place by friction fit, and requires a practiced movement in sliding it off the tang of the blade holder. The ease of opening is good, however this attributed to the amount of play/gap that has been adjusted in the pivot point of the blade and knife body. When the blade is in its open position, there is side to side play. I am assuming it’s the spring washer that creates the play. However the play doesn’t take away from the function of the cutter, as I developed my preference to holding the blade cutter. Although the cutter was designed with a #24 scalpel blade it can use other numbered scalpel blades. If the play of the blade moving side to side can be eliminated than it is worthy of a 5 star. Overall highly recommended.

Doesn’t everyone need a scalpel?
I love knives. Not sure why I needed this but we’ll see. It’s super sharp and included extra blades. It does not lock so keep that in mind.

Cheap, Autoclavable for Medical Kit
For low price of nine bucks, not too bad. I used a food grade silicone lubricant for ball bearings and spring bar. Autocalaved to make a sterile scalpel handle with blade on it. Lubricant staid on, and it didn't rust anywhere! Can add to medical kit. Also tried #25 blade, works good, had to jiggle blade to get it to lay flat.Scalpel bladed knives are good learning knives for kids. Can give them with no blade on. And when they handle it well, can give dulled blade, then later real blade on it.

good enough
not as sharp as medical grade scalpel as it indicates on the description but does the job. Small enough to carry and great design.

Cheap Steel
Was using this as an EDC and just from General use carrying it around in my pocket it started developing surface rust on the body as well as the blade. Never got caught in the rain or forgot to remove it before washing clothing. Best guess cheap Steel. You get what you pay for.
