It's clue as a social deduction game like werewolf or resistance Avalon
This game is great, and I love the components choice of having the publicly known character be an envelope while the hidden role of whether they are good or evil or conspiracy leader as a card that goes in the envelope itself. Most games where you have a publicly known persona or identity but also a hidden alignment like good or evil will just have two separate cards so as an innovation in usage of components, this is really impressive and handy . The game is great and it takes most of the thematic workings of clue itself and spins it into kind of a sequel of that game thematically where this happens after that game takes place and this is about a conspiracy to enact or prevent a murder rather than merely a deduction of a murder that's already taken place which happened at body mansion. In terms of thematics, this feels a little bit like it borrows somewhat from glass onion as well. In terms of gameplay, it only has some similarity to original clue in as much as everyone is playing one of the basic characters and there is deduction elements and process of elimination elements with figuring out some things, but overall it is a new game that is in the resistance Avalon category of social deduction games that are slightly more complex than simply mafia or werewolf but still quite simple and fun and just a step above party games in terms of complexity but much lighter than many other more serious gamer focused games. I also want to address one of the one star comments I saw that didn't really offer much in the way of specific critique except how much they hated it but not really why with the exception of citing that it took 20 minutes for four players to get through the rules and set up the game for the first time. So I want to note that I'm not sure if that person has much experience with hobby games or tabletop games generally besides the very well-known and classic 20th century ones or party games, both of which I like, but I just would like to admonish that person and everyone else to have kind of an open mind that in the broader range of more complex hobby games and tabletop games, including party ones, this is not an overly complex game nor is it a difficult game to learn. It's certainly going to take more time to learn a game than to play a game that you already know all the rules to by heart because perhaps you started learning them around the same time you started learning to talk, like how many of us were with Clue or Monopoly etc. But the fact that this is a new game and for four adults it took 20 minutes to get the game set up and learn the rules from scratch the first time, this is a very modest and small and light footprint as far as set up time and rules complexity when we are talking about clearly four non-hobby gamers playing and learning a game for the very first time. For that purpose and for the amount of fun you get, 20 minutes as a one-time first game only rules learning and set up session is not a big ask and certainly not big enough to warrant calling the game trash that should be flushed down the toilet. I just want to note that because I'm concerned that that review was written in haste rather than with sober reflection and thoughtfulness.

Great game, but arrived with a damaged box
Clue: Conspiracy is a fun twist on the classic, and the game itself is solid. Unfortunately, the box showed up with dents on all sides, which is disappointing for something brand new. The components seem okay, but the damaged packaging makes it feel less like a quality purchase. Great gameplay, poor shipping condition.

Instructions are confusing
The game will eventually be fun. There were 6 of us playing, and while yes most of us have ADHD so it still took 1.5 hours to figure out the rules. 2 of us read the instructions out loud, watched Clue's instruction videos, and a game reviewers 'how to' on the game and we still basically stumbled through 1 round before everyone had to leave. The instructions need to be more clear, less complicated and just shorter all around. I do think after we play it several times we will get the hang of it and enjoy it more. Definitely not for younger kids, better for teens + Will take about 30-60 minutes to play, depending on players quickness and compression of the game. Price was fair for the contents and make of the game 7/10 recommend UPDATE 11-14-24 We have played again with 5 of us this time and I'm not sure if we are miss understanding something but It's going to have to be near chance for the "friends" to win. We also haven't moved the cloud piece yet. I'd like to add we are all 32-36 years old

Clue With A twist
This was a very fun version of Clue. The quality of the contents were good and the price was reasonable. It was a little challenging to learn, but not unreasonably so. I think we watched a YouTube video after reading the instructions which always helps.

White lotus vibes
Same game play as resistance but with clue elements. We’ve played 3 times and are finally getting the hang of it.

One of the best board games to play. It is complicated to learn but once learnt fun to play. Definitely worth the money. For someone who likes mafia/wolf, this is just an extended version.
