Great for the price

There are 2 holes about 25mm in diameter and several smaller ones about 5mm dia. when preparing to use the bag, take a little time to get the bag to fold correctly so the bottom forms a rectangle. The large hols will let gravel and or soil through. I placed some spar weed control membrane in the bottom and then placed grave on that. To help fill with soil I cut the bottom off an old pot and placed that inside and it helped keep the bag open even on a blustery day.The plastic the bag is made of appears to be quite sturdy. time will tell.

Bought these to pot up bare rooted roses, as the ground not yet prepared to plant them out. They are flourishing well, and should be easy to get back out when ready to plant. Provide plenty of root space as they are the same width all the way down, unlike conventional pots, and are light, so not difficult to move / carry, even at this size.

Had a load of young saplings that I had to pot quickly ready to be permanently put in the ground in the autumn, these are just the job.

Used for potatoe growing very good and cheap

For what I wanted I find them a little too wide for their height but they are strong and I intend to reuse them when I have finished with their current purpose.
