Provides good shade over a dog kennel. I live in New Mexico and the sun and wind can be brutal. The shade sail is a 10x13 recangle with reinforced edges to hold rings for tie down. I just installed but appears to let air through the breathable fabric to prevent stress and tears. Good quality! Good price!

We live in high desert where the sun is intense and the summers are hot and dry. When we first moved here we built a deck with a pergola top, this didn't help keep the heat and sun. We tried multiple screens and even bamboo. None of these could take the wind and the intense sun. We bought the Gorilla Grip Heavy Duty Sun Shade and put it above our table, works great, has been through many wind & snow storms, definitely protected us and our dogs from the intense sun while we ate at our table on the deck. I just bought another one to extend around the table.

We love this sun shade!! I looked at so many reviews and decided to purchase this one. Let me tell you this thing is AWESOME! We’ve had it up two seasons now (we take it down for the winter) but it’s perfect! Does totally fine in crazy wind, storms, high heat and sun exposure. And this makes our patio 10-15 degrees cooler it’s truly amazing! There are no signs of tearing or rips anywhere along the seam. The hooks are nice and sturdy. Great value for this! Buy it don’t wait!!

I'm using this shade on the side of a wood shed that gets terribly hot during the Summer. I got it up but have yet to notice if it's doing what I want it to do. Initially I had it up against the sunny wall and the shed was still hot. I now have it mounted along the top of the shed and staked out the bottom section away from the wall. Fingers crossed.The shade looks like what I ordered. It's well made and maybe a hair bigger than the size I ordered. The connections at the corners seem stout. I took one star away for the guy ropes supplied with it. They seem cheap and didn't have the ends heated so that they won't fray apart.

This shad has been awesome so far! It’s really durable and withstands storms. Provides just the right amount of shade and looks nice!

We placed this over our garden and it works perfectly. Saving my garden in this Texas heat.

Considering I was looking more for a 10 x 10 shade for pergola. it is very saggy in the middle. Ends are taut, but still sags in middle. I have a 10' pole in center with a tennis ball at the end of it to keep from sagging. It will still def pool rain unless there is a strong wind.
