Excellent, time saving widgets
The pile of warm winter clothes was growing awaiting labelling before being taken into nursing home for Mum.Decided to giive these a go.Brilliant, whizzed through the pile, reasonably straightforward.Tried to attach them so they wouldn't rub against skin just in case.Remember to break off the sharp tip after attaching. We will definitely use them again.

Time saving
So quick and easy to label clothes for nursery. The best part is that they are also easily removable so name labels can be reused in other clothes, and leaves behind no sticky residue like stickers or permanent marks like pens - ideal if you want to reuse the clothes for siblings or donate/sell on

Kind of a risk
These are very easy to use. I understand the reason for it to have a really sharp point so it can go through fabric. But the catch/back of the stud does not cover it. So the sharp point is exposed. This is a risk while folding clothes. In future I will look for another product if available.Delivery was prompt and reasonably priced.Updated after realising that the pointed end should be snapped off! Great product!PS - I should have read the instructions before reviewing. My daughter pointed out to me about snapping off the end after securing the label.

Great time saving gadgets
Fantastic time saving little gadgets. They push through every fabric I have had with no problem and the backs fit on securely. I must have tagged at least 100 of my mothers clothing items with these and haven't had any come off in the washing machine or tumble dryer at all. The only problem I have had is the 2nd pack I bought did not have the correct number of each part in it, so I ended up with loads of pins without backs!!

Quality Issues
Having given up with the iron on type of labels and sewing them on is so time consuming that I bought these rivets (pack of 50) along with some woven labels to attach to my husbands clothes. He is in a nursing home but I wash all his clothing at home because he has very sensitive skin. In terms of using the rivets I had mixed success because the pins aren't very sharp & I broke about 10 following the instructions on the pack before getting the back of the fastener attached. Determined not to be beaten I then used a big sewing needle to make holes in the looped label and clothing item and this technique worked reliably. I was feeling confident I had cracked the only problem I had encountered, but I am now very disappointed that some of them have come off in the washing machine on a 40 degree programme. Of additional concern is that the labels and pieces of the plastic rivets have disappeared, no doubt hiding in the washing machine's pump filter which may cause me additional hassle at some point. The concept is brilliant, but in my experience the quality/durability of the plastic rivets isn't and I don't think they are truly fit for purpose.

Easy for those who can't sew
I needed these when I came into the nursing home after loosing my husband. I desperately needed labels but I cannot sew for toffee. I'm only 50 and thought this situation would be temporary but 15 months later I'm still here. They are easy to use, if you don't have much strength then get someone to either help or do it for you. They wash well, because you snap the sharp bit off you don't feel it rubbing or have any issues. The only issue but it's not a problem with tags it's the labels. If the label is frayed then the little tags will eventually come off. What I do is loop the label then put the tag through the loop. I have not had a problem since. Easy peasy as they say.

I wouldn’t get these again
Better to sew labels in these don’t work well

Easy to use
These do what they say on the tin and are so much more convenient and time saving than sewing labels on clothing.I use them for my mum who is in a care home. They seem to have stood the test of time as far as laundering is concerned. My advice would be to consider where you place them on clothing as mum has complained they scratch her. Probably my fault for not thinking about this.
