SLODA Replacement Battery for Apple Macbook Pro 15 Inch A1417 (A1398 Mid 2012 Early 2013 Version) Fitting MacBook Pro 10.1 15" A1417 Laptop Battery [Li-Polymer 10.95V 8460mAh]

Had this battery in my trusty old Mac for 9 days and so far, it's working a treat. The old battery had reached the end of its life, dropping quickly to 80%, not long to 50%, then powering off around 47%! I'm now back up to a few hours of use, but not had long enough to get a good average.Fitting was straightforward using the enclosed screwdrivers to get all the screws out of the Mac. The hardest part was getting the old Apple battery out of the device as it was well and truly stuck to the laptop case using double-sided pads. The best recommendation I can make:- remove the ribbon connector from the motherboard to disconnect the battery. I used a plastic top from a ball point pen to ease the connector up and off- remove a couple of screws at the top of the battery which fasten it to the motherboard- with the ribbon off, I then set to work on easing the battery from the case. DO NOT USE ANYTHING METAL OR SHARP. The last thing you want to do is pierce any of the battery cells. I used an old plastic picnic knife which I managed to ease under the battery, one cell at a time and using a gentle sawing action, cut through the double sided pads to break the join between battery and case.That's the hardest part - take a bit of time to avoid damage but it's only about 5-10 mins.The new battery goes in far easier than the old one comes out. Practice first without sticking it down. Put it in and line up the ribbon cable so you can see how it fits. Then take it out, remove the cover from the double-sided tape on the new battery, secure it to the case of the Mac, screw in the two motherboard screws, connect the ribbon cable and put the Mac back together.The use of a tool such as Coconut Battery gives reassuring info the new battery is charging, its capacity etc.

Bought this battery in April 2018. Easy to install. After about 12 month I realised the battery wasnt holding its charge long enough. Two months later a full charge would only last 20 min. At that time the track pad also become faulty so I opened the computer to see what the problem was, only to realise the battery pack was swelling up and chocking the track pad form the inside. I am now buying a new battery and not touching these Sloda batteries with a barge pole!

It was perfect for my Mac book pro! Although it was so difficult to paste off the original battery as it was fixed so hard, he product works well. I'll see how long I can keep using this battery!

Battery arrived promptly. Fitted it into my MBP early 2013 with no problems. Problem started when I went to try and charge it, using coconut battery reported the battery was only charging with 3-4 watts with a 14 hour charge time!Reset the SMC still no change, plugged in original battery to test whether it was the logic board, but was colpletely fine and charged normallyTried the new battery again but it didn’t even power on!If you’re looking for a replacement then look elsewhere

It fits like original. Just watch out to be well earthed, so that you wold not cause a static problem to your mac.....Instruments are perfect and the battery is recognized by apple in the mac OS.... Hope it shall last as long as the original (this is my second battery.....original worked since 2014) ;-)

Niente da dire sul prodotto , raccomando l'acquisto solo a chi è veramente esperto , occorre smontare completamente il computer per rimuovere ed installare la batteria , non è una cosa facile , seguendo però un tutorial che si trova in rete su youtbe e con gli utensili forniti alla fine e dopo circa un paio di ore di lavoro ci sono riuscito .

MacBookPro 15 inch, Mid2012のバッテリー交換に購入しました。現在その修理したMBPから書き込んでいます。現在アマゾンには、Mid2012にあたるA1398モデルの純正？のバッテリーが複数、この商品より２倍以上高額で出品されていますが、少なくともこの商品も問題なく使えます。他の方も書かれていますが、この商品にはバッテリーの交換方法は書いてません。ですが、バッテリーそのものは底面カバーを剥がすとほぼむき出しであるので、特に何もみなくても交換できました。ただし、バッテリーは粘着テープで固定されているので剥がすのは根気と力が必要です（ドライやーなどで温めたら簡単かもしれませんが基盤が壊れたら嫌なのでやりませんでした）。他の商品にはプラスティックのヘラのようなものがついてると思いますが、本品にはそれはついていないので１００均などで購入することをお勧めします。実際私は１００均で買ったヘラで剥がしました。接続後起動するとバッテリーは６０%ほど充電されて状態でした。説明書によると、８％ほどまで電池を消費してからフル充電することを2-3度繰り返してバッテリーのエージングをさせ、最後はフル充電して、電源をきるようにと書いてあります。
