Also included in this book are tools and resources for you to put to use when you are ready to begin the journey of entrepreneurship and trust me, they don't leave anything out. After reading this book, you can expect to walk away with a wealth of insight to starting your business, but this is just the beginning. As the author states, this is just a starting guide so be sure to take advantage of the recommendations and put into action the lessons you learn.

A solid business book for anyone thinking about starting their own business, or taking their hobby mainstream. The book covers almost every aspect of the process.. even helping you decide if you really do want to start a business in the first place. I've found the book very helpful in helping me develop more of a structure and foundation for my company, and great insights and actionable pieces of advice from both the Author and the Sharks to promote and grow the business too. At this price I challenge you not to make the cost of the book back on your very first day. I've personally seen over 50% growth in my company over the past few months - and some of that is definitely attributable to the ideas contained in this book. Highly recommended.

I believe the book could have gone into depth a bit more about starting up a business and given a bit more in depth insight from the sharks of the show. I am a huge fan of the show and own all the seasons and over the seasons gleened much of the information in this book. Overall though for someone who hasn't sat and taken notes during each epidsoed I would say buy it

Shark Tank Jump Start is an enjoyable, extremely informational read that covers so much ground and gives so much advice and so many resources that it's very difficult to put down -- except to jump online to put all that new information to good use. My husband, who is not much of a reader, has read it twice, and I've had to wrestle it from him several times to get my time in with the sharks. We've gained an enormous amount of knowledge and we're learning how to use it. We both heartily recommend this book.

In order to follow the advice of this book, you must have already cemented connections, and loans, and live in Never-land.Every piece of advice it tells you is followed with, "but maybe not"-There are no pieces of advice here any greater than the lessons you will learn by owning a business.There are some resources at the back, but once again, you will be lead down this path regardless when you open your business.And none of these resources will help you go from nothing to something.My husband and I started our business with nothing, and had to decide whether to make a car payment, or buy advertising.We bought advertising, and we are 10 years in now.There is no manual for starting a business, and the funny thing is, this book spends most of its time telling you exactly that!Go to your state small business website, then go to www.irs.gov to learn about the tax you will owe, and how to account.Then,take everything you own, and believe in, and make this baby!Books like these would have deterred me from starting my business,and we have won the Angie's List Super Service award for 4 years now, with no loans whatsoever, and we even had to go into bankruptcy our 4th year when our advertiser went out of business.The secret to owning a business is simple-Give it your all, and never say no to anyone! Least of all yourself!There, I saved you 283 pages of nonsense!If you're even thinking of buying this book, you're already on a good road.Good Luck!

Great book ! I am a big fan of the TV show Shark Tank and so I bought this book. It was really well written and easy to read. I am thinking about starting a business and this book gave me further insight and ideas on getting my product launched. A must for new entrepreneurs or anyone thinking about starting their own business. Great new advice from all the sharks too.

As someone who is in the process of starting a small business, this book has proven a really necessary resource. It is packed with extremely useful information, great motivational stories, and all kinds of helpful tips. I love watching Shark Tank on TV, and this is such a great extension of the show. It has really helped me take the inspiration I get from seeing success stories on the show and start translating that into my own company.I highly recommend this book to everyone!

I wasn't expecting a lot, but the book was easy to read and had some good basics to learn.If you like Shark Tank you can relate to lots of the stories that you saw during the show.It obviously won't get you to accomplish your American Dream, but it is a small helper with some interesting hints to get closer to it.

Interesting and easy set to start an idea. This book is easy to read and keeps you interested to the very end.

Great book to get your head in the mind set for business. Nothing too in depth is explored but it is just a good general guide on some tips and mentality of running and starting your own business.

I know some people will think this is only one additional way for the sharks to make money out of their show.I disagree with this. I loved it all the way, although I've read A LOT about entrepreneurship! I think this is well-written and you'll find great tips that get you back to reality and take the myth down of starting a business (not as easy and accessible as it is sometimes told).

A very very useful book, filled with suggestions and insights from the sharks. I love also all the suggestions for further reads and websites to learn more.
